I really like this unit. Makes feeding my cats much easier without suffering the ear bleeding meows first thing in the morning when they are hungry. They have finally gotten used to their schedule and will wait beside the feeder when they know its time. The only issue I have with this feeder is that if it becomes unplugged, the whole unit resets which requires manually setting everything again. Doesn't make sense to have a battery backup if it will just reset with a loss of power anyway. Other than that I have no complaints!

I have never owned an automatic feeder before but the reviews were good on this one, so i purchased it even though i was a little worried about the size of my dog food (getting stuck). It was very easy to program, gave me 4 options (meals) and has a good size feeding container. I like that it is electric but has battery backup. So far it is working great and my medium size dog (45lbs) loves it!

I have a huge German Shepperd and he loves to eat. We got this because we 1) wanted to prevent over feeding him and thought something that auto fed him with pre-set portions controls would help with that and 2) we leave town on occasion and having an automatic feeder would be useful. I think the idea is grand and perhaps a better made one would have done the trick but this one isn't the one to purchase. It worked okay for about a month...maybe. Then it started resetting its feeding amount to only 1 ounce per feeding (it was set up to feed 8 ounces 3 times a day). No matter how many times we reprogram it, it resets itself to only feeding 1 ounce. Then the digital display went out within 3 months of ownership so now we cannot even see the display to attempt to reprogram it. Also, it will not keep programing without power so if you program it and the power goes off even for a second, guess what, you dog isn't getting fed because it resets itself to zero. Basically what I am saying it do not buy this product, its a waste of your money. Find a better one!

This product arrived in a timely fashion and was very well packaged. It is also easy to set up. I purchased this product because my last automatic feeder finally quit on me after about three years (Different brand). The feeder itself works great and gets the job done. It is a little different than my last one in setting the meal portions but I think I finally have it right. My only dislike on this product is that the speaker quality is poor but that is by far not the reason that I bought this product. I would recommend this product. I feel great knowing that my cats are getting fed even when I am not home on time to feed them .

My fiancé and I have been trying to keep one of our fur babies on a diet (much to his chagrin), and this automatic feeder has really helped us in staying consistent with regards to his portions. Though he dislikes that meowing at the feeder won’t automatically make it feed him, it goes off exactly when we tell it to—enough that he has learned to hover around it about five minutes between each meal. The app for the product is very easy to use, and the feeder is completely controllable at a tap of your touch screen.Very satisfied with this purchase. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to keep their furry ones on a healthy diet, or to just feed their pets consistently every day.

Our vet recommended getting a self feeder because our 2 yr old cat had started waking me up every morning earlier and earlier. She said if he didn't see me as his source of providing his food, he would stop bothering me. We've had it now for a couple of weeks. Last night was the first night he didn't wake me up. Before last night he was still coming in to wake me not realizing yet the food was in his dish. Then he started just waking me up 15 minutes before it was due to feed and I would ignore him until he heard it drop in his dish. We also went from feeding him 2x/day to now with the feeder 4x/day. That has helped tremendously with his crying all day to be fed and running to his food bowl whenever anyone was around or walked in the house. So far this is awesome. He would not know when to stop eating if we left food in his bowl causing him to vomit and now he sometimes doesn't finish the entire bowl at each feeding.

So, I can't vouch for iPhone, but this will not work on modern Android, without some technical knowledge.The app is NOT on the app store, you have to go find it on a 3rd party APK site, which I don't recommend unless you absolutely are sure you know what you're doing.Outside of that, it does what it advertises. It feeds my cat at the times I set it to do so, when I set it to do so.You can even record a voice bit for it to play when It goes to feed your pet, but you can only record one thing to play for all food dispensing, and the microphone / speaker in this thing is worse than a tin can string phone. I doubt your pet will be able to understand anything it plays.If your willing to potentially give china your personal info, -because let's face it, there's a good reason it's not on the app store-, and you're willing to potentially download malware from a 3rd party APK site, yeah, this works alright.

Originally was using the Iseebiz app on android, but now noticed the pictures say to use ISeefeeder. The problem is the Server is not allowing me to login. I will give it a few more days, and then demote this to one star if I can't login.Now for the feeder itself, it worked pretty well.PROs:-It would dispense the correct amount of food at the right time.-It would not overfill the bowl.-It could be triggered by the app for whatever amount.CONs:-It would sometimes disconnect from the wifi.-Batteries are located on the bottom, so when it disconnects need to remove the batteries to get it to reconnect. I ended up removing the batteries, so I could just unplug the device.-Alexa skill never worked.It was a decent feeder, I'm just hoping the Server comes back up so I can get it working again.
