My 5 year old son (who is Autistic) somehow mastered the art of ordering from Amazon. We were surprised to receive this table, as well as a bit confused.. once he told us this was a table he’d ordered for himself, we immediately put a code on my phone and put the box in my trunk to return via the Kohl’s Amazon return desk... However, his steady flow of tears made us change our mind. Looks really nice in his bedroom.

As most, I was nervous about the quality of these tables because you never know when ordering online. I LOVE them though. They have a natural, almost rustic look to them. The color is great...they are black but have a sanded look to them so they don't look glossy and manufactured and I don't have to worry about fingerprints or scratches. Hope the pictures I've included help you decide if these are right for you. They were easy to put together...took me about 45 minutes to do by myself and they feel sturdy, not cheap. I'll be ordering the matching coffee table as well.

cheap furniture, with no lacquer, off gassing was so horrific. I've bought a few random pieces over time from Ashley furniture and their products are really cheap. They claim they make in the US so a better product, but my family are all general contractors and they have all told me that they use the wrong lacquers and use oil based stains which create a horrible toxicity in your home. Literally have to ozone treat the house to get rid of the smell from this entire collection.

These tables are easy to assemble and sturdy. The top is a grayish brown wood product which caught me off guard as I thought it was more brown, but they are nice nonetheless! These are much more expensive in furniture stores.

Fast shipping.....expert packaging....assembly-very simple and couldn’t be easier....really...this packaging and the engineering of this is straight forward and precise....when I was unpacking it and putting it together it reminded me of tight apple product packaging and design....I will definitely look to this brand again as needed ....once put together....it’s very solid and sturdy....looks great...very satisfied.......I was happy enough to buy an additional one and same great results....also bought the coffee table....5 stars

Very impressed with how well this was packaged & ease of putting it together. You definitely do not need directions. The screws & washers were all pre-assembled & ready to go. It took me maybe 10-15 minutes to assemble. Very impressed & the table is sturdy & looks great.

These tables are awesome! I had my eye on these for quite a while and bit the bullet and purchased two for my living room. They are contemporary, extremely solid/heavy and I love the distressed black-matte look. They arrived securely in the packaging. They were so easy to put together, took about 30-40 minutes. Be sure to not tighten down "all" of the bolts prior to putting in the bottom shelf! Yes, I made that mistake but it went together fine after that. I'm So very happy with this purchase, I think I may be adding another one of their sofa tables.

I bought two of these end tables and they look great in our living room. The color looks good in the picture, but even richer in person. The black is matte, which I prefer more than a glossy black. The matte finish makes it really easy to mix these end tables in with the existing brown woods and leathers in our home. I love that they come pre-drilled for leveling glides which I purchased at a local hardware store for a few dollars.I would highly recommend this end table to anyone in the market for a distressed, black end table. Also, Amazon's price beat Overstock by $20.00.
