The mixer is very sturdy, powerful, and easy to use. It has a crank handle that you have to tighten onto the machine, but other than that it is plug and play. The first thing I did when I unboxed it was make bread dough. It I made a 2 baguette size dough and it didn't quite fill the 15 qt pot (But honestly how could it) This definitely is for Commercial Large Batch applications. And I say that it is a great price as most other brands for this size mixer are in the range of $2000 to $3000. You get the same capacity and quality for $500. What a bargain! Again....it is a larger mixer so read the product description carefully.

I bought this mixer and originally gave an outstanding review. Then about a month after delivery I saw that there was silver paint added in very interesting places. The whip and paddle was about 1 1/2 inches from the bottom. This prevents proper mixing. I contacted the seller and they ignored me. After my 3rd request I was asked for a private email. I accepted then realized this is against Amazon policy for any contact to a 3rd party seller of Amazon. They sent me a word document of how to adjust the bowl. I was apprehensive as anything you touch will most likely void the warranty.Amazon then intervened and advised me not to correspond with the seller through anything but the authorized email set up from Amazon. Then the seller sent me a video showing how to adjust. I then asked for a replacement. 42 emails, 6 phone calls and finally an Amazon A to Z Claim was filed. The seller then demanded that I return the video. It was an attachment.When dealing with 3rd party sellers of Amazon they are under very strict contract with Amazon and you should NEVER deviate from this or you will lose your ability to file the necessary claims you need to protect yourself.This seller made adjustments to the mixer then concealed things by painting the adjustments. I have since used a HOBART commercial appliance authorized repairman who happens to be a very close friend. He has since fixed the issues but parts have cost me over $400. I guess this is the risk I took in making this type of a sale from an unauthorized commercial appliance seller. Take serious caution in this sale as you are taking serious risk with this seller and it will take you a long time to resolve.This mixer is not a good choice and take caution in buying a commercial mixer like this. Very very expensive to fix and you must use a commercial appliance repair person to make the necessary repairs.

Bought this for my wife and she is very pleased with how sturdy it is. It came crated very well and secured. Took a long time to uncrate it. Haven't officially broke it in yet but ran it for a while just to see how loud it is and if it's going to work well. It will definitely work well and it is a lot quieter than we were expecting.

The media could not be loaded. Great mixer for the price. Really well packaged. Big enough for my needs. One suggestion for the manufacturer is to put a variable speed dial in the future instead of the standard 3 speed. This would give better control for different mixing applications.

Item came damaged and doesn’t work. Box came open and item broken in the box. I am so disappointed. Do not wast your time and money to by this product. After waiting days to get this mixer to do my cakes and was so happy to get home to use it, then to be disappointed with a damaged item that not even power on. I was so upset and disappointed all at once.Update: after contacting the seller they gave me a full refund and i didn’t have to return the damaged mixer. Although I was unhappy that I was still without a working mixer I was very pleased with their customer service experience. They work really hard to get the matter resolved in a timely manner and I really appreciate that as a customer.

Came with the stop button falling off after a lot of effort finally got the mixer working

The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love this mixer! I use it to make things in bulk for my micro-bakery. When I’m making sourdough loaves I only mix on low and have had no issues. I am able to mix 15 loaves at once!
