I ordered this set to make the race track more challenging for my 7-10 year old grandchildren and because I made it anyone racing on it has to race under control both fast and slow speeds are required. If you lose concentration your car crashes, the grandkids like the challenge and competition between each other and their parents.This set has been great at providing an alternative to the iPads, games and TV.I recommend this to anyone looking to provide a creative distraction for kids of all kinds older than 6 years and up.I plan on purchasing additional curved track and supports to to make a double level straight stretch with a suspended elevating return curve to allow the cars to have enough distance to use the turbo trigger without flying off the track

These were great additions to our set we already had purchased. The only thing was there were a few parts that did not make sense. We would have wanted more curves too. Otherwise, it was a great purchase.

I got this set for my 8 year old to add to his original set. He loves the extra options these pieces provide! He has reconfigured his track dozens of times and the pieces are still in great shape. He did break one connector trying to force it in place but I am impressed with how well the track has held up to constant kid use. There are 4 curved pieces in this set that baffled us at first. We thought it was a loop but it's not quite long enough. Then he discovered they can be used to make a bank on the track. I've included a photo of how we set it up.

Track seems fine but box was open and pieces are missing. Don’t want to return because it’s a Christmas gift. Maybe I can have manufacturer send parts. Due to this I can’t leave a high review but it’s more of an issue with Amazon selling me opened stuff.

Carrera go is the way to go. Easy to assemble and take apart without breaking

This track extension adds a lot to the base Carrera go set. The extra distance gives you a nice fast straightaway and the banked turn is fun too.Speaking of the banked turn, it's helpful to know that the four curved pieces are not curves or a loop, but allow you to bank one of your curves to about 90 degrees. To assemble, put the two single lane 'ramps' together immediately before the curve and then immediately after your curve. The small plastic pieces in the bag are the supports for the curve so that it does not have to be against a wall (assemble the three pieces together, one end will go onto the base and the other attaches onto the back of the track).
