This is the best mat for Majong. The tiles slide smoothly, but they don't slip and slide. I received many compliments on this mat and have referred others to buy it. I purchased blue, and it's a very cheerful and calming color.

You can tell when you get something of quality—when the manufacturer actually cares about their product. This does not have edge-sewn reinforced seams, but it DOES come with its own carrying bag and a cardboard roll inset that makes it super-easy to roll back up and store instantly.So, when I opened the Amazon box, the product box came in an Amazon box, so that was nicely protected. And then inside that box was a sealed plastic bag that contained the nylon carrying case that contained another sealed plastic bag that contained the "playmat"," which was wrapped around the cardboard core.I almost tossed the core with the extra plastic bags, but I realized how much easier it is to keep it an roll the mat around the core and slide it into the bag. This thing is HUGE. I read the dimensions when I bought it but tbh I wasn't really paying attention. yeah, yeah, it was perfect for what I needed: video shoots of playing card techniques. This is large enough for four players to play cards, or dominoes, dice, or whatever. The blue is a very nice deep color as well.it is medium-weight neoprene. If you don't abuse it, it should last for decades. I am sold on this—so much so I had to write something. Because too often we get mediocre crap. I think you will be happy with this. It's not "extra heavy duty" (which would be nice, but runs over twice the cost) and it is certainly not some cheesy flimsy flim-flam. The surface is smooth and scar-free, and of course the rubber bottom is nice and grippy. Anyway, that's me gushing over this. Now if I could just find a table that is sturdy, portable, and affordable to match this.

I like how it came packaged in a roll and not folded to eliminate getting fold lines. It's not too thick or too thin and doesn't slip around my wood table. I got it to play games on my 47 round inch table. It's soft. I highly recommend it.

I wanted a larger mah jong cover for my table and found this one. It's okay, but not as thick as the smaller one (32") that I had. Also, it catches little specks of debris, so I have to gently brush it after a game. But the larger size makes up for these minor distractions,. It is perfect for mixing the tiles before each game - easy and quiet.

We bought this to cover our card table to protect our jigsaw puzzles from our cats. Perfect! It will also provide a great playing surface for cards, Mahjong etc. Excellent quality. Highly recommended

Comes with a roll so no creases and a great carry bag. It was a perfect fit for my 36" square table for a mahjong game.

Lays flat nice texture. Heavy enough to lay down nice and not move around doesn’t slip. Mouse pad like material. Pretty nice. Only flaw was it came with some manufacture defects on one side and it doesn’t lay down in the one area. And it doesn’t seem to be cut exactly square nor straight but it’s good enough. No reason not to purchase at this price. Overall pleased. We put some heat transfer decals of the card suits on it looks sharp.

We used for Mahjong. It is square and perfect for 4 players. It looks very stylish and modern. Deep black color. Somewhat grippy bottom. Rolls up easily and comes with a cardboard roll and black bag. Highly recommend.
