I was blown away by the quality of this book when I received it. This is a birthday gift for my dad who is a big fan of the Hacksaw Ridge movie. He always states how it gives him goosebumps. It is a very emotional movie that makes you thankful and appreciative. So I know he will love this book and looking at all the photos and thinking of all those men who sacrificed for us. Would highly suggest to any war time history buff.

This book gives more then the brief battle you see in the movie Hacksaw Ridge. It gives you the over all account of the whole campaign on Okinawa.

I have recently read three different eBooks on the Okinawa campaign. I am appreciative of the many photos in this ebook. Excellent job. I also must mention the maps are excellent and much appreciated. This ebook covers Army, Navy, and Marine operations equally. Highly recommended for anyone. Not just a collection of photographs.
