OMG the RollsRoyce of fancy notebook covers
This is REALLY fancy. The pics don’t highlight the rich feel of thick, supple leather with the firm yet soft touch of puppy ear soft suede that’ll surely age to mature beauty and oh wow, the scent of luxurious elegance...Superbly made. However, these fit 2 Moleskin cahiers but NOT a Classic Moleskine classic (last pic shows it’s a barely a (1-2mm) wider notebook but) it just won’t fit (without modifying the) length despite its sturdier cover. The zipper is super strong, thick & sturdy - it truly WILL last a lifetime. I got it to inspire me to write again—So far so good! Stitching is exemplary (pro 3Dcanvas sewer/tailor husband agrees) feels like there are 2 gorgeous hunks of leather with-?something? weighting it between each cover to give a lovely writing pallet. This is important to me that it have some weight and also lay perfectly flat so as to not have weird writing bumps or an awkward feel. The Only downside would be if it had just a wee bit more play inside (~3mm ish, but maybe it would slip too much? Maybe it’ll break it and be ok?) in order to accommodate a wider variety of notebooks than just the cahier moleskine one esp for the price which IS costly however these are truly such Quality materials with Paramount workmanship so it’s actually very Reasonably priced. I’m just poor. LoL But, now I’m feelin fancy!! And, creatively inspired. I really, love it 🥰 It is outstandingly beautiful!P.S.: I would not recommend using it with any spiral notebooks as it wouldn’t puncture but it would just wear down the beautiful leather and why would you want to do such a thing.P.P.S.: this is a Stellar notebook cover/writing journal maker thingie and I absolutely Adore it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly!
Where to begin………The good: this “XXL Moleskine” leather cover is constructed very well. Stitching is good, leather quality and zipper are good, and the smell is of leather and dye used in the finishing process. It doesn’t smell bad like many of the bad reviews in my opinion. The smell of leather extinguishes any chemical type smell (to me anyway). The Bad: other negative reviews are correct in stating the size is a bit small, by about a 1/8” all the way around. Since the leather cover was about $36, I wanted to save some money by going with a standard 8 1/2 x 11 notebook. I wound up having to trim the covers on each end down a little so it would be able to “fold closed” to be able to zip shut. The Ugly: after trimming the cover so it would close properly, I had to trim the corners of the paper so it could zip around those corners. Yes, it is dimensionally that close. Now, I could have saved the hassle by purchasing the “Moleskine” journal that it specifically states it was designed to be a cover for. I couldn’t see spending $32 for the journal on a $36 leather cover. My $2 notebook looks great in it! There……..you have it! The good, the bad, the ugly, and in my case, the cheap! For the price you can’t beat it! I’m happy with it!

Very nice, pretty, “rustic”, not over engineered, adaptable
Caveat: just got, but my sized notebooks haven’t arrive yet. / All the pluses: +Minimally packaged. We don’t need another nested box to throw in the garbage. +Left their logo off the product, good, I don’t like being branded, but they did add a cute little fob. +I guess Monica in Mexico made this. Thanks girl! Nice touch. +Company tells a story. +Because minimally designed, if you don’t want to use the pen and card holder, you’d not notice some extrusion or extra feature jutting out. +True to size. +Because zippered and a bit more flexible than some harder leather holders, it can moderately expand to holder alternately thinner or thicker items. +Thus, this doubles as a great book carrier, so on the go your book doesn’t get bent up. // No minuses. If I have the energy, I’ll post an update after more use. Thanks Hide and Drink! (Oh I get it now, Hide is a pun…)

Bought and returned several to get the right ones.
These are so appealing looking. They look like they can solve all my journalling needs. Well, yes and no.The aesthetic is 100%. Nice leather, not too hard. A big sturdy zipper. Tactile.First one I bought, too small.Second one, different size, floppy and zipper stuck.Third one, zipper stuck, too small, color off.Fourth one (different size) might be ok. Need to check zipper again.Fifth one, pocket sized, blue. Fits my field notes and Pigma pen with room. Best color. Sadly, it is a little scuffed and dry. I will probably keep this one.A lot of hassle? Yes. But these feel amazing. The leather is nice. Visually, just a delight. Not a lot of smell.I don't know how better to say it. If a certain look gets to you, and this is pleasing, it's worth the hassle

Perfectly imperfect
Great product, especially for the price. It fits 3 moleskine cahier notebooks, 2 pens, and a mechanical pencil perfectly. Or it fits a hardcover pocket moleskine very tightly, without pens. I modified it slightly by cutting a small slit in the inside leather flap to hold the tops of my pens more securely. There is a slight chemical smell along with the leather smell but I’m sure it will fade with time and use. There are small imperfections in craftsmanship but they do not affect functionality and give it a handmade appearance which is great. Seems very durable and will likely last a long time. Quality leather and zipper. Very happy with it overall.

Excellent!
Love it! I’ve got a few “leather” things online that were “oh, our bad, did we forgot to say PU or Vegan? (ie. fake) leather?” This, however is the real deal. Fits great, feels great, smells great and will age beautifully! (Oh, and some reviews were the equivalent of, “I wear a size 10. This product was super-clear when it said, size 9 … but I’m still disappointed/annoyed it doesn’t fit my size 10 … seriously?!?) AS DESCRIBED it fits PERFECTLY. 10/10 pleased. 10/10 recommendation. 10/10 would buy again and buy more from this EXCELLENT company! Thank You!

Not a premium experience for that price point
Well, the leather is nice, but I wish it had been made thicker. The zipper feels alright, but when I throw this in a bag it feels very formless. I bought a set of Moleskine XXL notebooks (8.5x11) specifically for this, but I had much more success with some crummy spiral bound notebooks with harder covers. Everything just felt a little flimsy. I will say that I found the pen-pocket charming and I like the overall layout. Be aware that there is ZERO tolerance in the measurements, and you'll need to cut the last half cm off your notebook covers to get them to fit properly. Don't cut the pages-- they fit inside the zipper fine-- but the stitching on the inside makes it just a bit too snug to cinch the notebook in all the way. It's not a deal-breaker, but it feels like it cost three times as much as it should have all things considered. A few quality tweaks in the manufacturing (make the whole thing 1.5cm wider, use a thicker leather for the outer shell) would make a world of difference.
