Good value
Ok I normally don’t write reviews but after reading a few I see that some people need help with this one.Yes it’s small, it CLEARLY says 2.2lbs in the description. Nope, not cheap. Especially if you are comparing it to ham from the local deli. Yes it’s salty, it’s a cured meat. 🤦🏻♀️Yes, it arrived “wet”. Unpack it, put it in the stand throw a hand towel over it and leave it on your counter for a day or 2. It will be spot on by then. If it arrived dry it would dry out before you got a chance to eat it all. Bone in hand arrive dryer if that’s your goal. The flavor is great! Is it as good as what you will get in Spain at a tapas bar? Nope! But if you are from Spain, currently sitting in Kansas craving some Serrano because you FINALLY found a place with some decent French bread, it will absolutely do the trick!

My dogs eat half of it, but the other half tasted really good.
Taste like Prosciutto. So unpacked and took a few bits to see how it was, it tasted just like Prosciutto. So decided I was going to hit the store, pick up some bread and cheese to go along. I wrapped it up in some paper towel to pick up some of the moister. I thought to myself I should put this somewhere better so the dogs don't get to it. Went to the store and when I got home the dogs didn't bark, weird, thought someone might have broken in. Opened the door and no dogs to be seen, now I start to panic, never happens, I peek around the corner and notice the wrapped ham is missing.. Damn it.. I turn the corner and there she is looking ashamed and 1/3 of my ham missing. They all run off and hide in the in bathroom, I cut off the chewed parts and ate the rest. Dogs LOVE IT and so did I.

Pricey, Poor Taste, Terrible Value. Completely Disappointing
Having visited Spain and enjoyed many wonderful tapas featuring Jamon Serrano over several days, I purchased $160 14lb Jamon Serrano after returning to the USA. It was wonderful and my family devoured it over the course of a few weeks... actually before I could make all of the tapas that I planned to make. Rather than purchase another $160 bone-in ham, I went with this smaller 2.2 lbs ham. It's very very small, but all meat. The meat however isn't so great. It was wet, rubbery, and is difficult to carve even using the stand. There's a "seam" of some sort running right through the meat so I can't even get clean cuts. It wants to gape open like a wound. I think that the process of removing the bone completely compromised the cut. You can see in my photos of the top and bottom that it's almost like two or three different pieces of meat that were glued together. What you get looks like some sort of "Hamgina." It is very difficult to get decent pieces of jamon off this rubbery conglomeration of meat. Moreover, the flavor is "meh." It.s been drying on the stand for two days and has yet to taste like anything. It stiffens up a bit over time, but the flavor is nothing approaching that of a real jamon serrano. The aggregate ratings make it look like this is a decent ham, but if you had real Jamon Iberico, or even real Spanish Jamon Serrano, you're going to find this very disappointing. I can't believe I wasted $75 on such a terrible product. For this weak taste and poor curing, I wouldn't pay more than $25. And as others have commented, you can't return it once you open the bag. I think the seller owes me a refund of at least $50 for this waste of meat.DO NOT BUY. Spend more, at least get a good bone-in Spanish Ham. If you can't find/afford that, go with Texas Iberico, or an American Virginia Ham, or Prosciutto. This product is just a waste of your money. This is a very reasonable substitute: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082GRFPGJ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Dried out fast
It’s made up of pressed parts which made it good for just about 3 days; after which it dried out quickly and only good for cooking ham. Not worth it for the price.

Avoid this cutting board meat holder.
This cutting board meat holder is a poor quality product that I would not recommend. The pics from the seller are disingenuous and make the product look MUCH larger than it really is, the cutting board included is 8 inches long. The flavor of the included ham is poor quality for the price. The value for the money paid is not good as the hardware is overpriced, and the buyer would be better off making their own from a hardware kit and a regular cutting board, instead of a 8 inch piece of unfinished pine. As for gifting, I would not recommend giving this as a gift to anyone, as it Is poor quality for the price. Save your money and invest in a high quality product.Review haiku:Cheaply made holderMeat's flavor left wanting moreWaste of hard-earned cash

Better than reviews suggest
As other reviews note, this is a small ham and has an unpleasant rancid smell when first opened. However, the meat itself is quite palatable after removing the oxidized layer. Also, the excess oiliness is easily removed by wrapping the ham in a paper towel overnight.
