Movie time just got even better!
Went from a 120" Elite Screens pull down to this newer edgeless fixed frame, and am in love! I ordered samples from about 5 different companies, and the ES white sample was the best in terms of color accuracy and temperature over the others with the most vibrance. Paired up with an Epson 5050UB.Installation wasn't bad, just took time and patience. I did the installation on my own, so one person is doable with enough space, but I'd recommend two to be safe. Need a bit of muscle to pull the screen around to the velcro, as well as the bar (or bars) in the middle. The installation instructions weren't bad, and it's too bad they didn't have a video for this newer model type (velcro) vs. their springs type video. The only part lacking was the actual install/hang to the wall, which was easy for me to measure and decide how to center and level, but could be a challenge for some people.I did also notice a few spots on the edge frame as you can see in my pictures, but I used some permanent marker to fix and it's not noticeable at all, very minor but worth mentioning. The corner pieces also seemed a bit lose so I added double sided tape to the back, and used an exacto knife to remove the backing. Probably not an issue, but I didn't want them falling off at any point.Overall an amazing screen. Is it worth the price, probably if you want the best quality, but I feel like it could be a few hundred dollars less, and you are paying extra for the frameless design. One last thing, for those who want an absolute frameless screen, it's possible simply by not installing the edges. Wouldn't recommend this unless you have a dark or black wall behind the screen to absorb the overshoot, but worth mentioning as I debated for a minute how cool it would be with no edge at all! But I needed the small edge for the overshoot on my projector. The wife and kid approve, so overall highly recommended!

Disappointing product & worse customer service
I got my screen this week. Still can't speak much yet to the quality of the screen as I've been sitting around waiting to hear back from customer support. I received a damaged center support. The pieces on the ends of the support are just plastic and one of the ends was broken when I took it out. No problem, these things happen. However, thus far I'm finding their customer support to be less than stellar.Their support hours are quite limited so I couldn't do anything that day. Instead, I sent a detailed email to the support team with pictures of the damage, giving them part numbers, my invoice and everything I could think of, so that they could just send me the part the next day. Instead, they responded and told me I had to file a warranty claim. Don't know why the rep couldn't just create the claim himself with all of the information I sent him. However, I went and did it myself, since I still had all that info handy. After quite some time, the rep finally responded back and said that he would now send the claim on to someone else for it to be processed. So what good was the first guy, why was he even in the loop? It's been crickets ever since. I tried asking the original rep what all of the run-around was for and asked for a timeline. No response. The screen might be good, but I'm already considering a refund and going with a better manufacturer. Elite screens is much more expensive than others of similar quality (using plastic in the support structure does not inspire confidence) I had hoped to at least get some service out of it. But it doesn't look like that is a priority for them.UPDATE: three days later and they still haven't even processed my claim. Since it was taking so long, I decided to just super glue the broken piece together and proceed with the installation. I got the screen together okay and went to go and install the edge pieces and LEDs. I encountered more problems. The screw holes for the sides lined up okay, but the holes on the top/bottom pieces don't line up correctly. When I screwed in one side, I found that the holes on the other side didn't line up. It was off by approximately 1/2". So, I can't install the trim pieces. All four of the top/bottom trim pieces are this way. The other issue is that the package didn't include the LED strips.I'm beginning to understand why these guys are so backlogged with claims. Three defective/missing components in one package. I can't just be that unlucky!I would completely stay clear of these guys. At this point, I'm kinda up a creek. The screen is assembled, but borderless with no LEDs. Id like to just return it, get my money back and go with someone else, but trying to dissamble and repackage everything would be a huge pain! I have zero confidence that they are ever going to make things right.
