Easy to install unless you need to run power to the power supply cord. I’ve bought and installed 6-7 of these light kits - 3 pantries (down each side of the door frame and along the top), in a bar cabinet, bookshelves, under cabinets in 3 locations - and I am obviously addicted. You’ll likely need a roll of 20g low voltage 2-strand wire to run between sections of the light strip and I recommend the “25 pack solder-less LED Tape Connectors” to make installation easiest. I Love the range of white tones and brightness for various moods. Note: This appears to be the exact same product HD sells under a different brand name for about $60. I initially used those kits and can’t tell any difference other than labeling. Even the packaging is identical.

easy install

These are awesome. The instructions could be better. As a first timer, it’s difficult to determine what you need to make your specific installation work. I ended up needing two kits.

We used this kit to put in under cabinet lighting in our kitchen, it gives nice lighting for food prep. We put in an another set in our cottage we were so pleased with the first set.

This is the only product that I can find that has the option of controlling other strips, plugged into other outlets with no switch. It is extremely important, hard to find, and a big bonus for most applications. This is in addition to the actual product which functions well and allows easy install.Highly recommended product. One of a kind!

Placed these lights underneath my island where our barstools are. Easy to install and use with remote. Love the different light settings, very clean install no wires other than the plug. Worth the money

This would have been a good light set if only they placed the cut lines at shorter distance from each other. Cut lines on this set are 20 inches apart which is almost impossible to work with. There is no mention of this in the product description. All I wanted to do was light up a dark audio cabinet so it could shine on some components that were hard to see. I needed about 12 inch segments for this. I spent so much time splicing and redesigning my lighting configuration to accommodate this poor product. Since it wasn't in the description I didn't even discover it until I opened the package and was halfway through the project, so too late to return and too much of a hassle at this point as I would have to break the audio system apart again to redo. To top it all off, after all that work, only the red and white colors work, probably because of all the joints and unexpected turns I had to make must have cut a circuit somewhere. With so many choices of light strips out there, I would not recommend this product. Very Frustrated!!
