My first opinion was this looks great, I housed it under a modified 2 seater table & bench in the garden. It was easy enough to set up, I put 2 new batteries in it and filled it with food then set the timer and tested it out, brilliant.I have a cctv pointed at it so I can keep a eye on who’s there and if the feed is going down.Day three of holiday and it stopped working. I was beginning to think this was a waste of money. My daughter popped round and when I pressed feed nothing happened.It wasn’t till I got home that I realised some idiot (me) forgot to press the electric plug switch on even though the plug was in the socket. The batteries didn’t last long.Hence it now works fine and has been till all the food ran out.I’m thoroughly pleased with it as it works great. The app allows you to set timers when it comes on and how many servings and It doesn’t matter where I am I can press feed and it does.I sellotaped the top on as we have crafty foxes and badgers round here.I also put double sided tape around the housing of the bench and sprinkled it with salt as I noticed slugs we’re getting in the housing and eating the food.

The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love this feeder, it's well worth the money. It is not advertised as working with Alexa, but it should be, because it does (with a bit of slightly fiddly setting up - details below). So as well as feeding on a timer, you can also feed via Alexa for those times when the cat is hassling you for food but you're busy with something or having a lie in!It also works via the app when you're outside the house, so at any time you can open the app on your phone, wherever you are, and feed your cat.To connect to Alexa:1. Connect the feeder to the Smart Life app as per the instructions.2. In the Smart Life app, click Smart and click the + to add a new "Scene"3. Choose Launch Tap-to-Run -> Run the device -> Pet feeder4. Under 'Select Function' click the chinese letters, leave it as "1" (this is the number of portions so increase it if you want it to eject more food), click Save, then Next5. Click Name and change the name to "feed the cat" (or whatever you want), click Save, and Save again6. In the Alexa app, add the Smart Life skill and connect your account. When discovering new devices, Alexa will discover your "Scene" called "feed the cat".7. In the Alexa app, add a new "Routine" (More -> Routines -> +). Call it Feed the Cat. Under 'When this happens' choose Voice, and enter Feed the Cat (or whatever you want)8. Under 'Add action' choose Smart Home -> Control scene -> Feed the cat -> Add -> Save.Then when you say "Alexa, feed the cat" (or whatever words you chose), it will!My cat was wary of it at first... it took a little bit of getting used to before she fully trusted it. But now she recognises the sound it makes and runs to gobble up her food.

Overall a decent product, it's easy to set up, it feels well made and the scheduling works as it should. It's easy to turn off the scheduling if you decide to manually feed a different type of food (I like to give my cat wet food twice a week, which means I need to disable the schedule at those times), most automated feeders at this price can't do this so that's a definite plus for this deviceThe downsides :The lid is not secured in any way, it literally just sits on top of the unit, so it takes absolutely no effort to remove the lid and get inside. If the unit gets knocked over, the lid will come off. If a wayward paw takes interest in it, the lid will come off. Obviously this is no good if there's pets around! I've secured it with electrical tape, which is fine, but looks messy and isn't ideal. It would be much better if the lid had proper catches to hold it downThe portion size is quite large, at 15g per portion. Other feeders are feeding around 5g per portion so there's much better portion control. My cat gets 60g of food a day, which I can do with this feeder, but if I needed to slightly increase or decrease their portion size I would not be able to - adding or removing a portion would mean an enormous change of 25% in the amount of food they get. A much smaller portion size allowing for finer adjustments would be a big improvement

Good value for money. I had gotten one of these so that I can feed my cats even if I am working late in the office.I had gotten one to try and spend about a week observing my cats when I am working from home. My cats were a bit puzzled by it when we first got it, the noise freaking them out a bit. But once they figured it out, it was a breeze and they began to pace around it when the time came for feeding.I had hoped to just get one for my cats to share, but I observed that my cats were not the sharing kind and one would hoard the feeder. After observing for a week, and found that the feeder and app worked as expected, I took the plunge and bought another one.The app was pretty easy to set up. But I am used to setting the 2.4GHz WiFi as this seemed to be the standard for "smart" household items. The app connected to the feeder quickly and was easy to control. I had set the feeders to drop the food at the same time each day, and they worked really well.I feel a lot better about going back to work on the office, now that I know my cats won't be missing their dinner, if I need to work late.Very pleased with them, and would recommend this feeder

We got ours in jan 2022 and it’s still going strong, I especially love the app on my phone and watch that lets me see when he is fed but also allows me to give him a wee treat when I am bedridden. It’s been a lifesaver, it’s timer feeding system means I don’t have to get up to feed him and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a lie in in the morning without a screaming fluffy overlord demanding food.Only downside is the portion size is a bit iffy, some days it’s 16g per portion, other days it’s 22g so it makes judging a decent feed amount difficult to start with. But after that’s sorted, it’s a breeze.

The device was great until it stopped working the day before I had to leave the country for travel. I have two cats and depended on this device working.Cannot recommend this

Heel handige voederbak. Installatie wijst zichzelf uit.Ik heb deze in december 2022 gekocht. In december 2023 problemen en zonder problemen met de leverancier kunnen oplossen!

Easy to use, simple, and effective

Prima reservoir, wel wat moeite met een volle lading. Dan draait ie (met name met grotere brokken) niet echt lekker. De machine doet dan een soort heen en weertje waarna het meestal wel goed komt.Katten zijn helemaal Pavlov nu en wachten al op de vaste tijden naast de bak😆

Works alright, good quality etc - no problem. Unfortunately even a single serving of kibble is a lot for my cat so it is not very useful for me.

This product is not reliable. After a week or two small mechanical parts came out the dispenser. My cat almost ate them if I hadn’t noticed. He was already chewing on it. Also, it doesn’t always dispense when the food gets stuck. Don’t recommend it
