Worked perfectly for me when cleaning, polishing and setting up guitars. So happy that I finally have the right tool for the job! I had been using the styrofoam neck rest that was part of a cheap guitars' packaging. It worked okay but would get blown off the workbench when someone would walk by. It was also too low when working on guitars with angled-back headstocks this has two different heights, making working on guitars that much easier.Highly recommended, with a huge price-to-performance ratio!

I think is a well made product, great for the at home hobbyist and a must have for anyone that does even the most basic of maintenance on their guitars. Makes life much easier.

You need decent size desk or table for your Guitar or bass. But if you do, this makes you easy to change strings or adjust the neck and some other parts, etc. You can do all that without it but it’s just makes you easier to do that and less chance to scratch body or dent your guitar or bass. But if you don’t know how to use it, I highly recommend to watch some Youtube videos or get advice from professional repair man. It could damage your Guitar or bass if you use it not correctly.

I think this cork cradle works just fine for any guitar. As you can see, it works just fine for this guitar that has a headstock the size of a dinner plate. And it was fairly inexpensive. It also doesn’t have any smell.

In the past, I have cobbled up neck supports to use while maintaining my guitars. The need for something dedicated to the task became more apparent over time.Enter this formed-cork unit. In its tall orientation, it works for full-bodied guitars. Rotated, it works with solid-body electrics. That's so useful!consideration when determining what to buy was whether the surface of the neck rest would gradually pick up environmental grit that could then transfer to a guitar. I find this compressed cork material dense enough to resist picking up grit and soft enough to prevent damaging surfaces. It can easily be cleaned up with a damp cloth if needed.Having a true neck rest makes it so much easier (and likely) to maintain guitars.Obviously, being cork, it is lightweight. Ha, ha...and it floats.
