Fun, fun, fun
OK, these aren't the best contour duplicators made. I knew that when I bought them. I'm not a cabinet maker or a home builder. For DIY home repairs and crafts, this set is easy enough to use. The pins are bit thick for high accuracy, don't slide very well, and the locking mechanism bends the pins sightly.For general use around the house they're okay. Contour duplicators are fun to use. This set works well enough to get you in the ballpark. I use them a couple of times a week for woodworking or transferring shapes to leather templates. The entertainment factor makes this set a good value.

Wow, a very handy and useful tool to have on the workbench.
The product is very well constructed of good quality material. It is very nice to be able to simply lock the teeth once you have it around the item you are trying to trace/mark/cut around. I highly recommend purchasing this items from this vendor and have it on hand when you need it for such things as cutting flooring to go around the door frame when you cannot/don't want to have it go under the doorframe, cutting framing to go around piping, cutting wood to go around odd shaped items, measuring things like window sill or frame for various reasons. Having a larger and smaller one is definitely work having both on hand and using.

This is useful for cutting tiles and flooring to fit around entranceways and doorways.I'm not sure how accurate the measurement markers are on the brace, but the product works for what it's designed to do.

MEASURING GAUGE
SEPT. 12, 2024THE MEASURING GAUGE WAS NOT ACCURATE BECAUSE IT EXTENDS FROM EITHER SIDE ABOUT AN INCH OR MORE. I COULDN'T GET THE PRECISE MEASUREMENT FOR CUTTING THE PEEL AND STICK TILES AND AROUND THE STEAMPIPES.
