Mini Cinnamon Drops, Bulk Size, Baking Chips (1 lb. Resealable Zip Lock Stand Up Bag)

We found a recipe online for some “Amish” buttermilk cookies. The recipe had a glaze to put on top, but we aren’t much for that. We made them and they were really good. I decided to add these cinnamon chips the next time, and OMG we are seriously addicted! We always have them on hand, and go through lots of these chips, they made all the difference!

Cinnamon chips are harder and harder to find now, so we were glad to find these on Amazon. The flavor and smell is good and they make wonderful cinnamon scones!

These are an easy way to add a new twist to many of your old cinnamon favorites. Add them to pancakes, cinnamon rolls, snickerdoodles. Throw a handful in your struesel topping or on your apple muffins! There are so many ways you can use them to add an extra rich cinnamon-y flavor to so many things. They don't completely melt like chocolate chips, but I like that because they add these little nuggets of flavor speckled throughout your baked goods.

Add cinnamon mini chips to your scone recipe. Add them to steel-cut oatmeal for breakfast. Delicious.

These little cinnamon drops are hard to find locally. But I found them on Amazon and was optimistic that I could add them to a scone mix successfully. I did just that, but upon tasting found there was absolutely no cinnamon nor sugar taste at all. Sadly, this was a total disappointment.
