Simply the best fiber supplement you can use
I've been using Konsyl since being prescribed it by the VA a long time ago for digestive issues. Since then, I've tried all the other brands and have always come back to Konsyl as it has proven to be the best at providing the help I was looking for.Reading the negative comments has me shaking my head. People are complaining that it doesn't taste good. If you want something that tastes good, get the orange flavored Metamucil. If you want something that works, get the Konsyl. One that really made me roll my eyes was the person complaining because he likes to sprinkle his fiber into his coffee and this product clumped up like others did not. Yeah, that's the whole point of fiber, to clump up and form bulk. This is not a fiber you can put into your favorite drink and sip on it. Take 8 ounces of cold water and put it into a shaker bottle. Add a teaspoon of powder, close the lid and shake like a crazy person for 10-15 seconds. After that, drink immediately. If you're not someone who can drink that much at once, drink half, shake again and finish it off. Taste can't be described as good, but it's not anything repulsive that you're going to gag on.If you want fiber that works, there's nothing better than Konsyl. If you want fiber that tastes good or doesn't clump in your favorite beverage, stick with the more common store brands.

The best out there
I’ve been using Konsyl pysillium husk powder since 2007. Works great. Better than any other pysillium husk powder brand I’ve tried. I don’t feel the capsule work as well for me. Suggest putting tsp in water in 8 oz, stir quick and gulp fast. Maybe strir one more time half way through.

Great supplement for my cat!
One of my cats has a fiber deficiency, and my vet suggested sprinkling some of this powder on her food each night. She eats it up with no issue, so the taste is either so subtle you don’t notice it, or it isn’t gross enough to bother her. Works great! No more stinky litter boxes, haha.

The price is right
The taste isn’t as pleasant as most of the other brands and it is a little harder to dissolve in water. If that doesn’t bother you, I would suggest buying it for the price alone.

Dangerously bad
This stuff is horrendous, i don't understand any reviews that say claim otherwise. The taste is godawful (tastes like dirt), which i wouldn't mind suffereing through but no matter how well you mix it, you still end up with clumps..Most of which end up gluing themselves to the top of your mouth. After mixing didn't work, i tried to put some water in my mouth and add a little powder then swallowing and then i almost died because i had a massive clump stuck in my throat.

Drink it fast
I will continue by this. Since I've been drinking it, I no longer have to snack during the day. I don't have the appetite two snack. And the health benefits from it is greatness. I have drank psyllium in my smoothie but never just with water. To avoid the taste I use a water additive. And you better drink it fast because it does get thicker as it sits.

For me, it's not worth the risk
You should know that this product contains lead, which is present in the soil. I've come to learn that all psyllium products, including those that are organic, contain some level of lead.I did not know this. Because I live in California, Amazon displayed for me, before purchasing, a prop. 65 warning that stated the following: "Labels on and packing slips in this package can expose you to chemicals including Bisphenol S (BPS) which is known to the State of California to cause reproductive harm." I was not concerned about that particular risk, and so I placed my order. But when I received the product, the prop. 65 warning printed on the package states: "This product can expose you to chemicals including lead, which is known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm."I wish Amazon had informed me of the actual prop. 65 warning listed on the package regarding lead, in which case I would never have purchased it. I will dispose of it, and will use instead a non-psyllium product that does not contain any heavy metals, most likely Citrucel. For me the heavy metal risk is not worth it for a product that is used on a daily or frequent basis.I can't speak to the effectiveness of this product for its intended purpose, and so I am giving it a neutral rating of 3 stars. But if you plan to use it on a regular basis, or another psyllium product, please be aware of the potential risks.

So very convenient for travel
Very convenient for travel. Recommended by my MD, and I am very happy not to have to carry bulk powder. I do bring along a small Tupperware since each packet lasts me 2 days.
