Very impressive for it's price
Good quality and features. Great battery life. Good build quality. Advertised as waterproof.VERY easy operation. Practically no learning curve.FOV is about 100 degrees when measuring horizontally. Not sure how much it is diagonally.Only downside: High compression which ruins video quality.I use it as a sort of 'dashcam' for my electric scooter. For slow moving captures it's kind of fine, but if you're riding then the low data rate of the video can't keep up with the constantly changing scenery. If the camera is moving around, the recording looks very blocky. There is a setting to select the video quality (high, medium, low) but I don't see any difference between all of these. Also the data rate with these 3 setting stays exactly the same.Framerates seem to be as advertised. The aperture and sensitivity of the sensor seem relatively large and thus lets in a lot of light. I can tell by the complete lack of motion blur. Every video frame is extremely sharp. Shutter time must be very short. Here's an overview of what all different resolution settings can offer:1) 2560x1440 30p: I believe this is the size of the image sensor, so this should give the best video quality without any scaling applied -> Full frame FOV.2) 2304x1296 30p: Good video quality. Non cropped, so gives a full frame FOV.3) 2560x1080 30p: Still good video quality. Top and bottom cropped for 21:9 aspect ratio. Horizontal FOV is still maximum.4) 1920x1080 45p: Frame is cropped both horizontally and vertically. I'm experiencing audio desync at this resolution setting. This is probably due to the hardware in the camera being pushed to it's very limit in terms of data rate.5) 1920x1080 30p: Same resolution as above but 30p and without audio desync.6) 1440x1080 30p: Cropped vertically, and cropped horizontally but even more. This is a 4:3 aspect ratio, however the menu says that it's 16:9.7) 1280x720 60p: Yeah you'll get the very fluid 60p but the image quality is horrific. Looks like an upscaled 256x144 video with a heavy sharpening effect. Full frame FOV however8) 1280x720 30p: Much better quality than above but only 30p. This is cropped though, both horizontally and vertically.9) 848x480 30p: Good image quality for a 480 pixels tall video format. Full frame FOV.My findings regarding the resolutions:Data rate is roughly the same in all resolutions, so this means you either choose higher resolution with more compression, or less resolution with less compression.Personally I really didn't want to use a cropped mode, so that leaves me the choice between resolutions 1), 2), 7) or 9).9) is a very small resolution, I'd probably never use this.7) is horrible as I said before. I'd rather record 30p with good image quality, and then use some AI frame interpolation software like Flowframes to get back the fluid 60p.2) theoretically has less compression than 1), but honestly due to the lower resolution I can't tell any difference in the resulting quality.1) is good. Honestly I really don't need 2k resolution especially since it's heavy to do video editing on. However I guess I'll just keep using this. If 4) or 5) would have been full frame video, I probably would have used one of these. There is sometimes some screen-tearing. I checked if the PAL or NTSC format changed anything regarding this issue, and then I found that neither mode had screen tearing. I'll have to investigate why this was the case earlier, maybe it's only on a specific resolution. The camera adapts very well and fast to changes in brightness. It also has a digital zoom function.I found out that long-pressing the left bottom button gives a shortcut to replaying the latest recording. The audio quality is amazing. Many people here wrote complaints about the audio and I totally disagree. The audio sounds very full. I think it's stereo audio also. I can hear very low pitched noises and also the very high pitch coil whine of my scooter. When riding there is surprisingly no wind noise at all. I'm very amazed by this. However when I look sideways there's suddenly a lot of wind noise. VERY happy with the audio!IR function works with a physically moving filter which you can hear click when it's activated. I was greatly impressed by the range and clarity of the IR capturing mode. The IR lights do a very good job illuminating the area. There's also a visible light LED. It's good for signaling but not great for illuminating the area.Lens and screen seem to be covered with glass. Easy to clean since the lens is almost flush with the body. The LCD is very clear and bright. I dialed the brightness down to the lowest. Both the included clips can rotate. It's very stiff in the beginning and may require a lot of force, but they can click every few degrees and hold very well. People wrote in their reviews that the clips are crappy but I tend to disagree. The locking and rotating mechanisms are in metal. The camera is obviously heavier than a gopro but for its size I think the weight is proportionate. It's not 'too heavy'.I'm pretty sure this camera is almost identical to the waterproof Boblov one. They have the same amount of buttons in the same locations. Same locations for flood light, IR lights, laser pointer, microphones, ... everythins seems the same. Only difference I can tell from the product pages is that the Aolbea has only internal memory and the Boblov I beleave has the ability to plug an SD card.

Terrible quality
Worked for 5 minutes, but with terrible sound quality that could have passed for one of those distorted meme videos. Then, it stopped recording sound for all the videos taken. It still recorded sound on the microphone mode, but not when I took videos. I followed the manual trying to reset the device and it refuses to reset. I connected it to my computer and it still doesn't play audio for any video. So now I own a silent camera and a garbage desposal sound maker if I just want to record sound. I bought this garbage device on sale, but it was still not worth the 80ish bucks I spent. DO NOT BUY THIS DEVICE IF YOU ACTUALLY NEED TO DEPEND ON IT.
