Have not used yet. I like the size and it looks realistic. I don't know about the hook ups. Hook sets inside but when I pull it up it slides back in. Time will tell.

Inconsistent behavior
These lures look great coming through the water when they function correctly. Unfortunately, the action is inconsistent due to the sinker/hook slipping in and out of the bait. When dry the first couple of retrieves work well. But, once the lure is good and wet the slippage starts to happen every other cast. Savage Gear needs to tighten up the slot the hardware rests in to stop this from happening. I have similar baits from another company which has a much tighter fit, and this is not an issue. But, the graphics are no where near as nice. It looks more like a cartoon fish. The colors are brighter and just plain old unnatural looking. Unfortunately for me, as soon as this pulse tail lure hit the market I bought 6 of them.
