I've bought a lot of coffee-makers. Coffee is important to me. I'll spend whatever to get that quality one-of-a kind taste to start another day. I've bought many French press coffee-makers too. Some of the so-called best are a disappointment. Usually German-made things are good. I bought a French-press that was apparently a German owned company but was not any good at all. The plunger didn't fit well and so you had to press and press and then suddenly it would go down but spray your stove and back-splash (and my hand too with hot-water until I learned what a piece of garbage this "German" French press was and so gave it to Good will)...This made the best quality coffee I've had in a very long time. I wanted to be able to make two "Venti" sized cups in the morning and this is perfect. Two great big cups get me going. It is better thought out in every way too. the lid has a marker with an arrow showing where you rotate it to "open" and you pour out hot HOT coffee, and then you rotate the arrow around again to close it up so heat does not escape. THis is great and helps keep the coffee really HOT like i like it to be. the plunger goes down easily and SMOOTHLY and doesn't spray coffee all over your stove and maybe you. It's just better thought-out, engineered, sized, and it POURS cleanly....it is a great product and well worth every cent.Many said the black finish comes off badly right away. I haven't had mine long enough to have a comment on that. I don't know why they painted it black as stainless steel looks fine to me and most prefer the look of pure stainless anyway....But I care about ease-of-use, flavor, etc and so didn't care that it got so many negative comments on the black color. No review complained about the great features that I also look for so I took the chance and I'm so glad I did because I LOVE THIS COFFEE-MAKER!!!Also, I've also just put a large fry-pan of water on simmer and place the French-Press on that and it really keeps the coffe piping HOT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT! it's value for the quality coffee you'll get out of it.

I drink a lot of coffee and this press has the right amount for me, 50 oz. it gives me two good rounds of coffee and it keeps it warm. I have been using it every day for over 2 months and still looks like new, I just take care of it when I'm washing it. I have the black color.

It’s just me and my husband here and he doesn’t drink coffee so I got thin for the times my son or parents come over instead of the k cups. I love this because the coffee is hotter and tasted better. It’s good for three or four people.

A good-looking, sturdy coffee press. Should handle many years of use. Holds almost 46 ounces (1360 ml) without dribbling from the spout. About 2 oz are absorbed by coffee grinds, which means maximum coffee yield is about 44 oz- which is about 3 fifteen oz coffees, or 5-1/2 eight-oz coffees. Tips: 1) pre-heat the pot with hot tap water while you heat the brewing water. 2) For a "full" pot, add 2/3 cup ground coffee to the pre-warmed pot, 3) pour the almost-boiling water over the ground coffee, 4) STIR about 30 seconds,5) place the plunger/lid on the pot and slowly press plunger down. Hint: aim the spout at the sink, or put the whole pot in the sink before you plunge. In the sink is easier for shorter people anyway.If plunger is very hard to depress, raise it a half-inch and resume pressing down. Coffee stays hot for almost an hour. Pot seems ok on an EXTRA-LOW stove burner for an hour or more.Great price.This method actually makes cheap coffee taste better.Works well for teas also.Only downsides: a) Not automated.b) Cleanup is more involved than a drip pot.c) Tastes best, but uses more coffee.Amazon's blurb implies an extra screen comes with the pot. Amazons blurb must be written by a robot. You won't ever need an extra screen.Update, Dec 2017- Loses 1 star because the hollow lid leaks, dribbles dishwater into the coffee.

Elegant yet strong product. Easy to wash and use. The stainless steel doesn't show water marks, even when I leave it out to air dry. Flavor is just excellent. Also, I tend to use less ground coffee for the same volume of coffee as when I used to brew in a drip coffee maker.The only drawback is that the instructions could have been better, giving more details and a little more extensive. I was new to a french press and had to look it up online to clean and put back together the first time. It is dishwasher safe.No where on the box or the single sheet guide did it state where it's made.

This press makes wonderful coffee! It’s so convenient to keep it at my desk and refresh my cup throughout the morning. It’s insulated well, but don’t think your coffee will stay hot all day. It’s got a limit of 2-3 hours tops for staying warm without any external assistance. Good value. I’d recommend this for coffee lovers.

I like the large size of this french press plus the fact that's it's stainless steel. I can make a large quantity of Crio Bru brewed cacao to keep in the refigerator. And because it's not glass breaking is not a possibility.

I broke so many French presses before, and when I saw this one I knew that I need to give it a try.And it is great!It has a good capacity to make coffee and it’s easy to clean and the best part, you not gonna break it

Tiene muy buen diseño, los materiales son resistentes y con el doble filtro pasa solamente el grano muy fino.

This is a very good quality french press. We use it daily and it's nice and sturdy, and because it's insulated, it keeps the coffee hot for a decently long time. I highly recommend this french press.

We liked that this French press was 1500 ml (50 fluid ounces). It makes 4 large mugs so my wife and I each have 2 coffees in the morning. The double walls keep the coffee hot in between. The screens do an excellent job of filtering the grounds. It is easy to clean to get it ready for the next pot.We are very pleased with the product and the transaction.

La compré con un poco de escepticismo ya que es un poco difícil conseguir buenos utensilios de color negro, pero me llevé una gran sorpresa al ver que la prensa cumple al 100% con lo que promete. Es bastante gruesa sin ser pesada. Muy estética. La soldadura del asa es muy ténue, lo que revela su buena calidad. El café permanece a una buena temperatura para beberse durante dos horas aproximadamente a menos que lo beban muy caliente ya que así permanece quizá solo por una hora. Filtra perfectamente el café molido grueso (el ideal para prensa) y el molido fino para cafetera lo filtra muy bien aunque al final sale con un poco de granillo. Nada grave. Definitivamente de las mejores compras que he hecho en Amazon. Muy recomendable.
