Great side bar steps for the new Defender
These are great steps for the new Defender. They come in either chrome or black, but I kept it all black. They look great and work well as a convenient step. They took about 3 hours total to install. If you do it yourself, pick up some extra plastic molding clips from your local Land Rover dealer. You pull the moldings off by unsnapping the small plastic clips and some of them get damaged in the process. They’re cheap, so it’s no big deal at all.

Nice rails, bit challenging to install.
Installation was a tad tricky, but in the end the product looks good and is highly functional. Installation instructions are clear and good, it’s a bit heart stopping pulling off the trim, but once you get used to it, and realize there are replacement clips it was okay. One of the screws would not align for me, but otherwise installation was quite easy.In the end great price, reasonable for a diy person if you don’t mind tearing off panels off your new car!!

Easy installation? lol
The reason I bought these was the claim that these install easily to existing attachments, that’s very misleading. If 2-3 hours plus removing a bunch of clips and body molding is easy I’d hate to see hard! I’ll either have to bring to a shop or return these now.

Best advice I can give you is - when you find the YouTube installation guide, make sure to watch it to the end.It took me 2 hours to install the first side and 30 minutes for the other side.I have it for 6 months, so far so good

Perfect fit and complete kit for Defender 110
Was surprised at how easy and well-machined this was compared to an official Land Rover part. Very Happy with the install.

Looks and fits great on ‘23 Defender 110
Perfect fit on my ‘23 Defender 110. Had mechanic install them. The extra clips that were supposed to be included in the package were missing, but it was easy for mechanic to get more.

Would buy again
Would buy again. I think the tolerances might have been a little off but I was able to get it to line up and bolt on just fine. Body panel tool and Body panel clips included!!!! Big win there. Used rotary Dremel and tin sheers to remove body work. Really not a big deal, shouldn’t stop you from taking on the project.
