You get what you pay for.
This is one of the cheapest binders on Amazon. And it’s cheap for a reason. If you just have a few pages to bind, this will work for you. But the hole punch isn’t strong enough or sharp enough to punch thru a single sheet of thin (8 mil) plastic report cover. The paper guide is also a little flimsy so the paper can and probably will slide around when you punch the holes. I returned this and bought a Fellowes binder for twice the price, but that one works great!

These work great to make booklets for my students.

Performs 1/2 the job
It worked fine to punch the holes for binding however, the function to open the comb to place the punched documents in failed to operate. It didn't move far enough to open the binding comb at all (3/8 in. comb).

No instructions on how to use product
NO operations manual with original AND replacement unitThere was NO operations manual included with the original AND replacement unit. Was only 1 page in the box which was the cover page for the manual on BOTH units received. Did not use the item as there were NO instructions as to how to use product.

Does not work with machine
The rings are curled so tight on these that I cannot open them with the comb machine. They are useless.
