Better than expected
This bar works perfectly. The fact that it's thin and I had it stretched almost to the max had me a little worried bit it has help up perfectly, even with a somewhat heavy curtain on it. I use it on my stairwell to try and keep the hot or cold weather out. Now I'm not sure how well that's going lol it doesn't affect the fact that this little bar has worked great and came at a great price.

Quick delivery
Easy buy. The hold the sheer curtains with no problem. I am sure they could hold heavier curtains.

Works
One end came bent but thankfully I’m superwoman and fixed it without an issue. For $6 ’ll take it

Exactly as described
These curtain rods were easy to adjust to the perfect width and I would buy them again. I put some embroidered sheers on them and even with the weight of full curtains they are sturdy.

Does a great job
This tension rod has done a great job. It is an incredible value. At this price point to get a curtain rod that holds perfectly in place with no slack even over time is fantastic. It is easy to install and has worked perfectly.

Measure twice, purchase once…
It’s too slim, too short, and too flimsy for a doorway curtain. No, I didn’t measure my doorways before buying, that’s on me. But in my defense, the images advertised led me to believe this would be appropriate for an average sized doorway. I’ll keep them for now; I figure I can repurpose them and use them as dividers for my bookshelf and underneath my sink. I’ll update and adjust my rating fairly if the versatility of the tension rods meet expectations.

Easy to install and sturdy
I’ve had this product going on 3 years now. I used it to hang up my curtains in my various college dorms. It’s never failed me! It’s easy to put up and just as easy to take down. It’s easy to pack due to the light weight, and you can take it apart to save space and easily put it back together when you need to use it again.

ACTUALLY USABLE @ 29"-41" NOT 28"-43". Not as pictured.
PROS:1) Actually comes in three pieces (which is also a Con [see below]), allowing you to use for spaces between 15.4"-27.5" & 29"-41"CONS:1) Item is not as described in multiple ways:1.a) Used as intended, it lacks 3" of advertised usable range and is actually for 29"-41"1.b) Uses a much weaker 3-piece design, but is pictured as a stronger 2-piece design.2) The spring design means there is much less tension at the longest length, meaning this will not hold anything but very lightweight things at max length of 41"REVIEW BODY:My Cabinet is exactly 28.5" wide on the inside... So the rod could even be a little over 28" and still work... But THIS IS ≈ 29", NOT the advertised 28"!Now, you may be thinking –But, in the picture I provide, the rod is not being compressed (pushed against a wall), and it shows right there in the item pictures that it should compress about 1.2"-2" shorter, due to the tension spring inside, right?–⬆ ⬆ Unfortunately, This is ONLY true when the rod is extended to greater lengths. Basically, when the rod is twisted to its shortest length, the spring inside is also essentially fully compressed. So, you may only get just 1/8" more spring compression (ie: from 29" down to 28.875") if you push hard.Additionally, while the pictures show it is the usual, ideal, and stronger 2-Piece rod setup... it IS NOT.It is a MUCH WEAKER 3-Piece rod setup, which includes:A small, usable-distance rod of 15.4" - 27.5" (you see these advertised as going to a maximum of 28", but they literally provide zero tension at 28");And a small diameter 13.6" rod extension that goes onto the end of that.As you can see in the picture, a rubber end is pre-installed onto the extension pole, indicating the end. However, if desired, this can easily be moved to the end of the main 2-piece rod, giving you the ability to ditch the extension, and use this rod for a smaller space. While that means you actually get a much wider range of applications than you thought you would, literally no one buys this as advertised to use for a space under 28" lol. 😉It also means:IF YOUR SPACE IS BETWEEN 27.5"-28.9" OR OVER 41", THIS WILL NOT WORK.CONCLUSION:Not at all what I was expecting from the quality of construction (with the weaker extension), or size.If I was needing this to be very sturdy, I would definitely have my concerns with this extension piece. However, I am only hanging a very short and very lightweight cabinet curtain. Therefore, while not everybody will be willing to try this (I happen to already have a small diameter metal pipe cutter, and a small hacksaw, as well as a full size hacksaw.), I will probably pop off the rubber end, cut the extension piece down far enough to make this usable, smooth down the cut, and put the rubber in back on for the distance I need.I'll try to remember to update.Thank you for your time and consideration for my opinion. 🙂END of original Review.
