These D-Ring tie down anchors are extra heavy duty and BIG! Had to make my own backing plates which worked out fine. The D-Ring swivel works great. Make sure you have enough space for installation. Now for the negative, on Amazon's website, installation instructions call for a 4-5/16" mounting hole and DC Cargo Mall's website calls for a 4-3/8" mounting hole. BOTH ARE WRONG! I had to order a 4-3/8" hole saw off of Ebay only to find out when I drilled the first hole the D-Ring did not fit! I had to enlarge the hole with a Jigsaw for the D-Ring to fit. I used a 4-1/2" hole saw I had and drilled into a piece of scrap wood to test fitment [that should've been the first thing I did] and it fit perfect in the 4-1/2" hole. So check your hole size first in a piece of scrap. The five stars are for quality of the product but could use more accurate instructions

The media could not be loaded. Product came soon enough- very good impressions upon taking them outta the box. I used 1/8th inch plate steel and 3/8 threaded rod for the backing plate and securing method. I used lock nuts as an added security measure. I did have to drill out the holes to 3/8 but that was no problem with my drill press. I believe they are 5/16 out of the box. I used a 4 1/2 hole saw to drill the four holes around the bed. Each used about half a battery to work (Dewalt 1.5A 20V).The hooks are smooth rotating, I have not used them yet but I am certain they’ll live up to my expectations. If I ever need hooks again I’ll get some more. They may rattle going down the road, but my 6.9 liter straight-piped diesel engine will overwhelm that no problem.

Very happy with this purchase. Heavy duty Tie-Downs that I installed on the wood deck of an equipment trailer. I have used the ones that rotate before and it is a great feature for getting a "straight pull" when securing your load. Not a ding on the product, but would be great if you could package this with bolts and a backing plate to make it a complete package deal.

The pinning of the pivot nut was so loose on two of the four purchased that they came loose in shipping. Be prepared to tighten and pin the bolts yourself to insure they will not loosen up in use. Also, the galvanizing is meh... Really just glorified name for what appears as zinc coated. Still, the value was good so I fixed and installed them. Time will tell how they last.

They look great and handle everything I ask of them

These are BIG. They description was accurate but they are just bigger than I envisioned. The will work (appear very rugged), but a smaller version would have worked better (easier to install).

The mounting holes are so close to the rim (only 1/8 of an inch), that it leaves little meat for the 4 fixing screws to take hold of, so whats its worth? Rated at thousands of pounds, only takes a 400lb motorcycle to rip it out of your trailers floor simply because there is NOT enough distance between the main hole you make in the floor and the retainer screws. If you value your equipment and or the safety of other s on the road, stay away fro this deign altogether

Good value for the pack. Had 1 break pretty quick after install but the seller replaced it right away and haven't had any other issues. Good customer service.
