I’ve had several trash canisters - metal and plastic. All have either rusted out or super cheaply made. This one has lasted the longest. As you can see from photo not super big (placed near my bbq so you can see size difference). I have 2 English springer spaniels, had three for a while. Even with three only had to change it out once a week but I do it twice weekly (don’t want to have a bag tear from the weight). There are these little nooks when you open it on the interior back side a bag can latch onto which is nice to keep it in place. Rain water doesn’t get in either. If you are worried about smell - it’s a dog poo trash can - it’s going to smell. But when closed there is no wafting stench of doggie doo at all. Nothing at all unless you open it to place the business inside for a moment. I buy the bags for the trash can from target that are lemon scented. Actually helps keep the smell down in general when I open it and the bugs away which is nice. Pooper scooper works well and was simple to connect. If this one ever fails, I’ll be buying another one of this brand again. Best I’ve found so far and price point wasn’t absurd for a poop trash can. I hate using individual baggies - waste of plastic. Just scoop and dump (no pun intended). Easy peasy.

I was hesitant to purchase given the price. However, it makes scooping up poop a lot easier. The rake and shovel feature work well without having to bend over with the shovel I used before. Worth the price.

Purchased a similar type a few months ago and gently used. Sadly, has not held up well and the top won't close properly. Very happy with this new model and nice looking. Shop USA products.

Nicely constructed can but definitely wouldn’t work for my yard with two large dogs. Tiny dogs maybe. Not sure how to use the inner can’s handle when it’s above and outside the trash bag and is guaranteed to have poop dumped on it. Could leave handle under the bag but then what’s its function? I passed ours along to a family with a smaller dog, will see if it works for them. Also, lid doesn’t stay open umless pedal is held down, so it’s awkward to keep toes on pedal and twist upper body and arm to dump into can.

Very good quality and easy to use

I decided to try this because it looked really good and found that it actually is really good. It’s totally functional and easy to use. I’ve never had a poop station that was this good. The rake and shovel are really easy to use and the trashcan is great. The bag stays in place. It’s easy to open with your foot. It’s just the right weight. Everything about this is really great. It is kind of a lot money for a poop container but since you get the scooper and everything it’s totally worth it.

I just got the can so cannot say how sturdy it is or how well it will hold up. It seems fairly sturdy but certainly overpriced for simple plastic can with insert. I purchased the 4-gallon plastic bags that were shown under "frequently purchased with", however, the bags do not fit over the rim all the way around. They are deep enough, just not wide enough. So recommend purchasing the next size up. Other than that, it was exactly what I was looking for to accommodate poop from two large dogs. Just hope it holds up better than some of the reviews stated.

UPDATE: So this thing does work great, but it got infested with bugs. I will leave it there and spare the details. I did leave it outside because I’m not bringing it to my house and I’m sure that contributed to the problem. Empty often is the only suggestion I have.This poop can works like a charm! Very handy and I wish I had gotten it sooner. I have four dogs, one of them a Great Dane, and the shovel can be a little “undersized” at times, but it is perfect for dumping into the can. I’m using a 4 gallon trash bag and it’s the best size. Not sure I would recommend a 3 gallon. Always a good idea when dealing with dog dookie!
