Excellent product
CLEAR COLORUPDATE: Product still doing a great job BUT it turned a tint of yellow. Product is behind window glass and is on the inside. Not sure what is causing the yellowing effect...UV rays from sun dont penetrate through glass (unless I'm mistaken), so I'm not sure the cause. The product is excellent, one of the best items to have in your home. The product truly is crystal clear. Application was on window shower tiles to prevent water damage/mold in the window area within the shower. The product is thick, comes out like honey on your brush. I strongly recommend a very good paint brush, don't go cheap on the brush or you will have strands coming out of the brush and into the product. And don't use a sponge brush...it's a little more difficult to spread with a sponge brush. Just use a good paint brush and consider it garbage after your completely done. If you're going to use it on shower tiles, DON'T spread it all over every tile and grout line since the wall needs to breath out the moisture from the shower through the grout lines, which prevents mold behind the tiles. If you do decide to use it for shower tiles...i suggest use it in a small area only...for me, that was the window in the shower. I decided to remove all of the old caulk in the seams of the window first, then apply new silicon. I let that dry for 48 hours, then applied this product over it. If you're going to re-caulk/silicon, i highly suggest silicon and use a very good brand because once you cover it over with this patch sealer, it's inaccessible afterwards. Please note, if you put this product over existing caulk that is old, it will most likely turn the old caulk yellow. It did that for me on the seams i chose not to re-silicon. It's not a huge problem, but if u like perfection, then take out the old caulk/silicon and put in high quality fresh silicon that is made for bathroom and tubs. This product takes a long time to dry...and it will slowly drip down if you put too much on at a time. I applied a lot on the tiled window sill portion and it slowly dripped over the edge. I had to brush it away with a clean brush periodically until it dried enough to not drip anymore. Make sure the brush you use is new, don't use a use brush with paint on it that's dried...the paint will soften and come out in the patch liquid, making the product have a tint of whatever paint was on the brush. I waited 24 hours for 1st coat to dry (feels grippy when dry, not tacky. Still tacky? Let it dry more). 2nd coat went on just fine. Like the directions say, make sure the inside of can lid and around the opening are dry before sealing again, or you will have a tough time getting it open again. I used a small sheet of clear plastic wrap to put over the opening and then put the lid on to help seal the product for future use. This product has only been on for 2 weeks now since mid Nov 2021, so i don't know how it will hold up long term, but it seems it can go the distance. Time will tell.

This stuff is awesome!
Used to seal around windows outside after I caulked them. I could then paint over it. Looks nice and is well sealed. Now that I have used the product, I can think of all sorts of uses for it around the house.

One year in and still kicking in our bird bath
We have a large concrete bird bath that had a huge crack in it. We followed instructions to the letter when applying. It has been a year and it hasn't leaked a drop. One big negative is that it doesn't stay clear. It turns white when it has water in it so it isn't beautiful, perse. But it did the job.

Works on leaking gutters but PREPARATION IS KEY!
I have seamed metal gutters that were leaking at the corners. I cleaned the corners - first I vacuumed out all debris, then wiped them down with water, and then wiped them down again so no spec of dirt was left. I let them dry over night. I then followed the directions and using a disposable brush put several coats down. Living in SF Bay area, the fog came in a few weeks later and none of the corners I did leaked, except I missed two - ARGH! So I just wiped down those corners (1/5th the prep I did on the rest) and applied. Yep, they leaked. It is now in full rainy season and all the corners that I spent the time and did the prep, not a drop. So, now I have to wait for summer to do the ones that I missed and are still leaking.

Worked on my preformed pond..
It's a really long story but I used this stuff in a way that's not recommended but it worked so I'll share my experience, well some of it. No fish or other animals were hurt for starters because I used it on my preformed pond which I have no plans of putting fish in. I did 4 or 5 (I forget) thin layers with each new one extending a bit past the previous layer. I waited between coats until I was sure it was completely dry which wasn't easy considering the entire process happened on the floor in the middle of my living room. The areas I had to repair were at what I assume to be the weakest point on a preformed pond which is basically right on the curve of the shelf. I had to do alot of work to get things level so I was stepping in and out of the pond and putting alot of stress on my patchwork but it held up and when I filled it with water the results were the same. It's been holding up for several months now and I realize that's not very long but I'll update this review next spring regardless of whether it holds up or not but I'm actually thankful it worked this long because it was the cheapest option I could think of to at least get my pond up and going this summer.

Thin and runny
Works OK but doesn't adhere well to vertical surfaces. Drips like cheap paint. Had to re-apply coats.

This is an excellent sealer
This sealer is an excellent sealer and dries in as little as 24 hours. The sealer is thinner than the thick tarry type sealer and can be easily brushed on with a paint brush. Because it is somewhat thin, it takes a bit more work if you are sealing an area where running or dripping of this product might be an issue. In my case, I wanted a thinner viscosity sealer to work with. When the sealer has cured, it maintains a somewhat rubbery feel to it. I used this product to seal a hard to get to tub drain pipe in the floor. To keep the sealer from going into the pipe through the hole, I wrapped the pipe with duct tape and then sealed over it. I allowed the sealer to dry 48 hours then recoated the second time for good measure. The leaky drain pipe is now perfectly sealed.
