Small saw beast!
What a steal! I bought this as a limbing and trimming saw, and was surprised that I could do so much more. Would not be afraid to use it for bucking all of my camp firewood, it has the power and rips like stupid. I have used Stihl saws for years and currently use an echo as my big saw (70+cc) but this budget husky was a tremendous investment. Starts easy and still massive rpm’s after about 6 tanks of fuel.Would recommend this to anyone at this price.

Fired right up without any issues - works great!
The chain oiler seems to leak - minor issue but I need to know that where I put this there will be oil dripping.I needed to remove some smaller trees that recently died. This made quick work of them and did such a good job I used up all the fuel.A major concern is wildfires and I was cleaning dead trees to help mitigate. This includes a spark arrester on the muffler. I still have more work to do, but this is a very good chainsaw.

Extremely useable for brush clearing and limbing.
This is my second 435. This saw has a good weight to power ratio and is extremely usable for brush clearing and limbing. I'll also use it for cutting firewood lengths when I only have a few cuts or as long as the wood is under the 8-10" range. For my use, if I only owned one saw, I might want something with a bit more power and versatility but in conjunction with a larger saw having something lightweight is nice for long days with a saw in your hands. Tuning the 435 is a bit more finicky than the larger Husky saws I've owned. Out of the box this one came tuned close enough after a small idle adjustment to use and break in for a while before fine tuning it. I'm a bit suspicious of the Husqvarna X-Force bar supplied with the saw since it doesn't have a port to greasing the nose sprocket. Seems like a feature which might be a plus for a homeowner and light use applications and a detraction to professional users. Overall, this saw is a good value especially if you're looking for something a bit more reliable and with more longevity than the box store brands.

Used twice so far.
Updated 5/26 - power actually is low for a smaller bar chainsaw. Compared to my old Ryobi this saw needs added time with the same tree sizes. Still runs great and all, just noticing a difference in power for same size/cc saw. I use the pre mixed canned fuel in all my saws so I'd hope decent gas.Starts fine, power seems a bit low, we'll see once broken in more.

Defective item and no obvious way to get help.
I purchased the Husqvarna 435 chain saw November 2021. I first used it a couple of months later and it was almost immediately a problem. First, after about 2 hours use cutting yard debris, the blade became so dull it was burning the limbs without much cutting. So, I purchased the Husqvarna sharpening kit and sharpened the blade per instructions. I helped for about an hour but it became so dull again that I had to quit (basically, a very poor quality chain). So, I bought a higher quality chain from a different company. However, when I tried to use the saw again it would not start/run...which is where I am now. Turns out this $300 item is "not returnable" and I was unable to find a contact for help on the Amazon website...so I am writing this review as the only option available to me that I can find. Based on my experience I cannot recommend this product to anyone. Very disappointing and expensive mistake and the overall good reviews it has received from other purchasers are not representative of my experience...how can there be no help available in a situation like this?

Great little saw
Bought this for my son. First year he has been cutting with us. Like anything new with a carburetor it does require a little bit of fine tuning and break in but great saw over all. Easy to start if you follow the start up procedure and cuts great. Like I said with some fine tuning this will be a great saw that will serve him for years to come.

Great saw for the money
Great saw for the size and money. Note if buying to FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS when cranking it, or you might find yourself struggling a bit and yanking your arm off and getting mad. Sounds silly, how hard can it be to start a chain saw? Just trust me on this. It likes it a particular way, and that way only.
