I’m really happy with the steamer. I read the good, bad, and ugly reviews before I purchased the steamer. Since I started using the steamer, I use distilled water, because with any product that needs water, if you use tap water, you’re going to get a calcium buildup in the machine. I let mine dry out before I put the water storage part back into the machine. I did not have any problems with the heat this item produces, unless I stuck my face and inch from the opening which I can’t see why people would do.It’s a good length of a steam, 8-10 minutes. It is not inconvenient if you need to refill once and continue. But if it is for you, look for something that produces a longer steamSo take a ways for the negative reviews. Welcome to products that use water, calcium build up is normal, it’s brown and gross, so use distilled. Let your product dry out before storing, that helps with reducing any buildup. Don’t stick your face right beside the product and the steam won’t burn you.This is a great steamer for the price. I’m happy with the over mechanics, simplistic to use, quality, and steam that I get. It’s just what I was looking for.

I LOVE this thing and am so glad I put it in my skincare routine! I have very sensitive skin that is often dry and have struggled with eczema so I was very hesitant to use this since the product says not to with my skin type. However, if used in moderation I think this thing works wonders! I steam maybe 2-3 times a week and only for about 2-3 minutes at a time, and I move my face around so all the heat isn’t on one spot, just like you would with a hair dryer. I put moisturizer on right after. I’m so happy with the results. For $30 I think this is some of the best skin care you can get!!

Really love this device. Very easy to use. I use my face wash, then steam, then do a face mask. The steam really helps prep my face! Steam is consistent and great temperature. Highly recommend.

I like how this works. Very easy and the steam isn't too hot. My only complaint is that the water container is pretty small. It only holds a few minutes' worth of water. Maybe less than 5? I'd prefer to steam for around 10 min.

Just what I wanted.

The steam output from this appliance is comparable to the Dr. Dennis Gross steamer for a fraction of the cost!! The steam is powerful, thus really ensuring the penetration of water! My skin has responded very well since adding this to my routine! The only downside is it has a plastic smell that hasn't gone away. I will attempt to clean it out with vinegar to see if that helps. Other than that, I'm delighted with this purchase. Such a great way to add a little luxury to the time you spend with yourself for a great price!!

This steamer is awesome. The only thing I can complain about is the smell... Ive only used it 3 times so far and washed where you put the water but the steam has this weird almost plastic smell to it? I still enjoy using it despite that but still... i hope it goes away

This steamer does what the last cheap one you purchased just couldn’t do. It’s perfect! I can’t believe the price. Hopefully it will last. I’ll send an updated review 6 months out.
