I bought these because I got sick and tired of trying to find inexpensive sets in the stores that won't break on the first go and that have lids and straws . I mean, for what you pay , you get sturdy enough cups to last all summer if treated well and good size to boot. The bottom is small enough to fit into a car cup holder but will probably be inclined to tip over if bumped hard enough on a flat surface. As soon as I received these I did all the tests I read complaints about. 1. The leak test...Lids have to be pushed down with palms on either side to get a tight fit. I did not use the straw but held the cup, FULL, upside down and the, only leak I got, was from the hole where the straw goes so some will come from that if it tips but otherwise okay. 2. COLOR CHANGE...I washed these with the scrubber and straw cleaner provided, in hot water and let cool, then filled with ICE COLD water and no problems, colors all changed. 3. CUP RIM THICKNESS...The rims of the cups are not that thick so if you are planning on being rough and tumble these or putting on the lids in a mad dash, they may break. The plastic that these are made of is pretty durable but nothing is unbreakable so if the lip of cup was thicker it would not be a concern at all. It all depends on how you treat them as I have had cups like this before and they lasted me ages. 4. STRAWS...the straws will not damage your teeth like metal ones and are a good size to get most smoothies through or thin milkshakes. They do sell assorted replacement straws online so if you do not like these you can change them and THE STRAWS DO NOT CHANGE COLOR. They are good enough for the company I have coming over as well because everyone will have their own colored cup to last the summer , fingers crossed. Kids at my house love to take any cup at their first grab and their know their colors so there is going to be NO DISPUTE this year of, who's cup is who's. 5 GRIP...The grip factor is good when full and not too heavy for my bad hands BUT when the ice starts to melt they will get a tad slippy so grab them from the small base. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HOLDING CUP BY THE LID WHEN FULL as eventually with washing it will come loose and come off. 6. .... PRICE... For the usage I will be getting all summer out of these cups (fingers crossed) without spilling on my floor, the price is definitely worth it. NOTHING lasts forever so keep that in mind as well.

Bought these to use at home and for travelling in the car.Really good large size and ideal for use in the garden as well as for picnics and everyday use.I use mine everyday and they are thrown in the dishwasher no problem.My son has Autism and really particular about his cups and hates anyone potentially using “his” so he has his own colour.They are lovely and bright when they are cold and putting them in the fridge or ice in them is nice to get them bright quickly.They haven’t leaked and are a strong plastic, if they were knocked over at force the lid may possibly come off but it is secure and I haven’t had this issue. Also if they were tipped upside down or onto their side water would most likely come out the straw/hole.Would buy again and good value!

Love this cups, one was unfortunately chipped on arrival but the cup still works fine and you can still close the lid, the cup just leaks a little if overfilled. I have also observed some colours take a while to change colour than others.

These are a great size, the kids get through so many tiny cups in sumer it's nice to have a large size available. Lids keep out the flies.They colour us really vivid when the drinks are cold, but fade as they warm up to room temperature. Keep the icecubes flowing! Strays have a rubber bung to stop them coming out of the cup accidentally.Comes with a straw cleaning brush and a cup cleaning brush.Great value for money and keeps the whole family happy and hydrated.

Disappointed to see one of the lids has a defect. These are for party favours so I can't use this one. There is no option to contact the seller other than asking for a refund, but I don't want/need to return them all before the party next week. It would be great if the seller to contact me please.The rest of the cups are great and have a good colour changing effect when cold or hot.

I’d read a lot of reviews saying they didn’t change colour which I a bit worried about but as you can see from the photos, they certainly do! Simply putting cold tap water won’t suffice but if the liquid put in the cups has been in the fridge they will change colour. Putting ice in too has the best result.Very leak proof, of course if you turn them upside down liquid will leak out from the straw but without the straw the liquid forms a sort of air bubble around the hold in the lid when upside down and only really leaks and drips from the hole if shaken.Only minor fault is the orange cup colours, the accessories aren’t the same shade of orange/yellow.If you’re looking for the review to persuade you to buy them, this is the one!

Good condition, sturdy, change colour when liquid inside but I have 3 cups that don't match there lids or straws. I brought them for a hen party and now that I am 3 cups short I will have to try and order more.

We bought these cups to take on holiday with us (to save having to keep going backwards and forwards for the small paper cups) and they were brilliant and different people mentioned that it was a good idea.After reading the reviews we was a bit worried they might be flimsy and break easily so we took all 6 even though we didn’t need them all. However they were fine and we used them every day for 10 days and not one of them broke.The colour changing side of it was okay but wasn’t really what I bought it for but my 9 year old liked it. It was handy for remembering whose cup was whose.Really handy to come with the cup sponge but more importantly the straw cleaners were brilliant as it’s normally the straws that go funny first but with straw cleaner it should prevent this.Would definitely recommend and would buy these again
