Is actually cute in real life!
A lot of times, these kinds of aquarium decorations come looking like a lump of plastic that got thrown through a paintball fight. This one is genuinely cute, and decently painted.I really like that the "grass" on this one is part of the sculpture, not a bunch of dyed green plastic threads stuck in glue. The threads shed into your aquarium, clogging up filters, but you don't have to worry about that with this one. The roughness of the grass on the sculpture can give things like java moss something to grip, which is nice.I took a nail file and went over the insides of the openings on the house because we have a delicate little African Dwarf Frog, and I didn't want to get scraped on some of the fairly sharp edges.Other than that, the residents of our aquarium (and I) are quite happy with this!

Very cute but cheaply painted!
My fish and shrimp love this decoration, however…I’m very disappointed in that the paint is flaking off the roof already. I’m not surprised but just once it’d be nice to find a decoration that stays looking nice.

Cute
Sprayed with a sealant just incase before adding to 5 gal tank. So far no issues. The shrimp seem to like it.

Perfect size
I got this little house to go outside and it fits perfectly. I wanted something for my garden that would also hold up to being in the sun and elements.

it's way too small for my fish
It seems well-made and sturdy, and it's nice that it comes with plants, but it seems way too small for my fish, especially a betta with bigger fins.

Broken & Hideous
Had this not arrived broken, I still would have returned it. The green is a really hideous shade of neon chartreuse. 🤢

Stuck fish
This should be used in a tank with SMALL FISH ONLY. The house is cute but the edges are sharp inside. On of my huge fish swam in and got stuck in the window. I don’t think he is going to make it. He is quarantined and being treated for open wounds. I bought it for my corydoras to have a hiding place from said big fish (Australian rainbows).

Fishy...
Ended up throwing away the plants, they kinda suck. Move all over the place and catch detritus. The hobbit hole is in my fishtank and the fishes and the shrimps love it. It might need some filing for sharp edges. Definitely for smaller fish like tetras.
