Does what it’s designed to do and is priced comparable to Lowe’s. I used this under a tv console to deflect the air forward. Since it’s covered by the table I don’t worry about it breaking. It’s pretty flimsy plastic…so be advised if you’re using in an area that can see traffic, it has a high chance of breaking.

The Hartford Ventilation Air Vent Deflector is a very good product. We have 3 small (13.5 inch x 5.5 inch) floor heating grated directly in front of windows. The long floor length drapes block the vents. The Hartford Ventilation Deflectors are the best. The magnets on either side are located in the middle giving me more control, making it easier to place them on the grate. They are sturdy and easy to adjust. I like that they are clear. I can look down at the grate to see if the grate needs adjusting. We're very pleased with our purchase. We ordered them on January 30th, 2025 and they were delivered on January 31st, 2025, well packaged.

This feels pretty sturdy and has a good range of adjustability. The issue I had was that the magnets aren't in a good position and the screws on the register protruded just enough to not let the mags contact. I fixed mine by drilling holes were the register screws were and ran the screw through both. Only took a minute and since mine is ceiling mounted, it's now 100% secure. Had to modify, but still well worth it.

Magnets don't work on aluminum which is what most registers are made of including mine. So, I just velcroed it and it does what it's supposed to do.

I have a vent in my office by the window and whenever the furnace is on, the heat blows up and into the curtains, so a lot of the heat is lost in the winter. I've got mine extended as far as it goes since I have a 14" vent and there is a very small amount of heat that makes its way through where the 2 pieces meet. Overall, I am very pleased with this. I wish I got this sooner, as I've been freezing every winter while trying to play games on my PC. I also have to get used to this being on the ground because I accidentally kick it and disassemble it every time I get near the window lol. A little on the flimsy side but it does its job!

I used this under a bed to get the air flow moved out and keep the room a nice temperature. It worked great and I could feel an impressive amount of air moving out from under the bed. It is adjustable to fit most sized vents. It also has magnets to keep it on the vent. However, it was in my kids room and they somehow bumped often. The magnets are not very strong and whenever it was bumped it would fall apart and then be ineffective. So I would say this is a great product for somewhere it won't be touched.
