Every few years I do an update, that is from their beginings, 50 years! They advertise "small monthly fee", but I do not think $40/month is small. The concept of Perpetual Updates is interesting but not for so much. I have never been a paid professional, but more than a dabbler - use it for everything graphic. I had to do something because Norton removed fonts or something - will not run and I can't find my last 2018 purchase. (It was registered but Corel won't help.) Thinking about their Essential version just to keep dabbling but some reviews think it is a joke. I just wish they had made more significant improvement leaps since their start (which I was there).

once you install a corel product you will get to see a spam message from corel coming into the windows messaging tray EVERY DAY. Black Friday deals, Christmas deal... and all you can do is close.. no instructions how to remove this annoying stuff. If you want to see Ads, get a free program. But for a program costing that much and then getting spam is too much. No other program does that. Stay away
