Great kit!
First of all, I got this kit at half off which is really a no brainier. Even at full price it is a great value but if the sale persists, order right away!! The assembly is fairly complex but the instructions are first class! If you can't tell exactly where a piece goes, look a step or two ahead and it will make sense. The trickiest part is getting the wires tucked where they belong but again, the instructions show you how and where they go. Take your time and enjoy the process. The finished product is pretty solid, the only thing I would consider gluing would be the barrel of the cannon if you are going to be playing with it. Speed is average for a legoish tracked vehicle. Really a great looking display piece. I didn't add the stickers. I may in the future but it looks great without. Beautiful packaging makes it very giftable!

An *expert* level build, not "intermediate"
The media could not be loaded. My son and I spent quite a few hours together building this tank. Bottom line: we both had periods of frustration, but in the end, we're both happy with it. He enjoyed the challenge, and I like that we had so many hours offline building this together. Here's the nitty gritty. This is an expert level build, not intermediate. It's extremely delicate, and the directions can be confusing. We actually got through the first two parts of the build, only to realize we did something wrong because there was no way the treads would fit under the fenders. So I went back and tore it apart, and rebuilt it.Every part of this build seemed very delicate. My son is 11, and got frustrated easily, and he's not inexperienced with builds. So if you're looking for a gift, make sure your kiddo is patient and experienced. When we finished, it was a bit tough to charge, but it was fun to play with. It does *not* move fast, but it's probably on par with other RC lego-type builds we've done.I'm giving this 4 stars because the instructions are fairly confusing, even for adults. I had one section I had to rebuild 3 times before I got it right. It's hard to explain, but the instructions are not quite clear on all the pages. If you're up for a challenge that may have your tear it down and build it up a couple of times, this is your kit. But if you want an easy RC build, you may want to look at something else.

RC Brick Tank FTW!
The media could not be loaded. Well this was a fun build. Bricks areSimilar quality to MegaBloks, almost even Lego quality. The bricks also have the brand logo on the studs, which makes it feel a bit more premium. The packaging has a real premium feel to it, with the internal boxes having chrome illustration. The motors are great, and I may reuse them on other builds in the future. They feel very similar in quality to Lego branded power functions. The build had some finicky spots in it, especially around the end of step 2 and beginning of step 3. As the build didn’t always reinforce itself structurally, at the right time. This led to parts falling off left and right, until you got far enough into the build. Once you got far enough though, it became a very sturdy model. The instructions should be reordered slightly to focus on improving the build experience structurally. If you notice parts falling off, I recommend using the two dark gray 2x8 bricks to reinforce the back of the tank’s sides. I did that after putting some 2x1 bricks back in place numerous times. Because of this, I do think this set is geared towards teenage or adult builders only. Kids can play with it assembled easily, but building it takes a bit more patience and experience to get it right.I did have some issues getting the wires to fit nicely under the turret area, but I used a pair of plastic tweezers to readjust them, so that they didn’t interfere with turret movement. Once this thing is together it is difficult to make adjustments, but if you look at the underside, there is room to sneak in there with a pencil or tweezers to readjust wiring.Once that was completed it was time to try it out. This tank handles pretty well, as the controls pretty much perfectly mimic a real tank’s controls (former military tank driver here.) This is definitely a keeper set for me.I didn’t put the stickers on the set, as I prefer the non-stickered look.I do think I got a different model than what I ordered, I got the Tiger Tank, while the advertised is the Panther Tank. However, the differences between the two look minimal. The set took me three nights to build, while watching TV, so this can probably be accomplished much quicker if you focus solely on the task at hand.Very happy with this set and will have my eye out for other sets from CaDFI

Don't waste your money!!
This is not a good toy. It is very cheap. Was missing pieces. The track wouldn't stay together. It was very frustrating. Not worth the money at all. Don't waste your money.

Cool building Tank. I haven’t finished it. I am halfway there. Can be built by one person or two I prefer working alone is going to look great on my display wall. Instructions are clear easy to put together highly recommend.

Fun set that does more than sit on your shelf!
As a major WW2 buff, I had a lot of fun putting this together! The scale of everything is just right and the extra features like the spare treads and tools on the sides are icing on the cake. The motors and controller work great as well. There are only 3 motors, one for each track and one to spin the turret. It would have been nice for a 4th to raise and lower the barrel, but that is no big deal.A big surprise to me is that, like a real tank, it is able to drive over obstacles and somewhat rough "terrain", ie other bricks and blocks. My kids love to drive it through piles of lego and their wooden train track sets.My only complaints have to do how easily some parts fall off. Mainly the barrel and the back armor panel with the exhaust pipes on it. The barrel is easy enough to fix, but the back panel can be a little tricky. I found the easiest way to put it back on is to remove the panel right above it on the flat top of the tank. That way, you can see where the back armor attaches and line it up to connect a lot easier. Then you can replace the other panel without issue.Overall, this is really fun to play with and it was a blast to build!
