My kids just love it!
My kids started playing with this set immediately as they opened the box! The set has very convenient storage bag so that all items will not get lost. Canvas details and cards are all good quality. All emotions on images can be easily repeated by kids. The cards also include instructions on reverse on how to cope with the exact emotion.

cute
It would be nice if there were two circles to make two faces at the same time. Also, having a darker skin tone would be nice. But those are the only negatives. These are so well made. The kids love making the faces and I love that they are learning about emotions. The bright colored hair is unique and fun and it is great to be able to put everything in the cloth bag when you're ready to pick up.

Indispensable tool for Learning!
Now more than ever, as children are slowly recovering from the isolation that came with the pandemic, quarantining, and e-learning we are seeing high needs for social-emotional learning activities especially with our preschool/PreK students. I found this indispensable social emotional learning tool that not only encourages creativity, but is engaging, interactive, and encourages my students to talk about feelings. Score! We have been using it for over 2 months, and my 3-5 year-olds love it! The set comes with a variety of flannelboard pieces, including a 2-sided felt board “face” in 2 different colored skin tones. Children can choose the face shade they want, then choose from 3 different colors/styles of hair in blue, aqua, and orange. My little ones love bright colors, the more colorful the better, so they were drawn to this set, asking for this to be brought out daily! There are a variety of felt eyes, eyebrows, mouths, ears, cheeks, noses to make different expressions, and matching picture cards which include worried, scared, sad, angry, happy, surprised, hurt, excited, disappointed so children can build their faces to match the expressions. Because of doing lots of activities with this with my little ones are more accurately describing feelings and using more vocabulary to describe their feelings, enhancing their language development too.As if there aren’t enough great reasons to add this to any home, school environment…It also comes with a handy storage bag making cleanup so super easy! So many wins with this learning tool! Some of the ways I have used this in the classroom:1. During free choice children could match the emotion/feeling on the card and have a friend guess what feeling they created.2. We create faces and have children write in their journals about a time they had that feeling, using it as a way to engage them into writing.3. We have them to use their white boards to draw their own picture of the feelings/emotions as I gave them clues about how the person I made may be feeling, (examples: I might give the clue that the person is jumping because they have gotten a new toy, or the person is looking for their mom and can’t find them, how do you think they are feeling?) then revealing the emotion on the flannelboard when they are done drawing; talking about their responses.4. We have also used this to help calm down upset children for children who have challenges expressing their feelings in words. They can create their feeling on the flannelboard and show us how they are feeling, even when they can’t say it. We can then talk about what is making them feel that way. This strategy has helped several children calm their bodies down and be better able to articulate their feelings as it encourages them to communicate with us even when they might not understand more complex feelings. It makes it much easier for them to share their feelings.I highly recommend this as an indispensable tool for anyone who works with children in a school, home school, grandparents, or social worker, especially because social emotional learning is so key to helping children cope with challenges in life, and now more than ever, children really need that support!

This is so cute and fun
I love using educational toys with my grandson and we have been talking about different feelings and faces so this is perfect for us. It is fun to use and easy for his little toddler hands to do. He likes making serious and silly faces. Love it. Nice quality. Comes with a bag for storage.

This is quite expensive for what it really is, and the quality of the material isn't very good.
