Beautiful for the price. I don't know about durability because I just received it today, but it is definitely the medal of the Immaculate Conception or Miraculous Medal. I recommend for people to have it blessed by a catholic priest and wear it. the Virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus promised to grant great graces to those who wear it around their neck. It does say it has a 2 year guarantee that the color won't fade, but I still wouldn't shower or swim with it on. I'm not sure if people know this, but the inscription on the front of mine is in french. It's supposed to say, Oh Mary, conceived without sin, Pray for us who have recourse to thee. Other than being in french, the detail is beautiful, and the inscription on the back is exactly as it should be.

So very happy with thus purchase! Wanted to get the Miraculous Medal necklace for each of my children. But I have 4 children...so I didn't want to spend too much since I had to biy 4...but I didn't want something cheap! They arrived so quick...and when I opened them up..I couldn't believe how beautiful they were!! My kids love them and where them all the time! Only complaint I have is how they attached clasp...i would have attached the opposite. On 2 of the necklaces I got I just had to refasten a ring the clasp was on. No biggie! Would highly recommend for the price!!!

Ok. To begin this necklace was only $5. So, I wasn’t expecting a lot and I did expect it to tarnish at some point. Probably not after years of wearing. However, I wasn’t expecting it to tarnish completely within two days. The gold color of the necklace wasn’t very pretty to begin with and the chain was very delicate but it looked decent. What was really disappointing was how fast it tarnished and I mean the whole necklace tarnished. I didn’t get it wet at all and I wasn’t sweating and the entire necklace turned a hideous brown in two days. My recommendation is to save your $5 and skip the necklace. Unless, you need it for one night as part of a costume.

I'm on the hunt for new jewelry and was thinking about my favorite necklace - I've had it since 2018 and I don't shower with it on, but I have worn it on vacation in tropical places and swam with it and it still is beautiful! I don't normally write reviews but really wanted to share that this has not become discolored for me nor irritated my sensitive skin.

Looks like fake gold, as in it is not a yellow gold color, it’s super shiny and almost orange looking. I know it’s fake, but I didn’t want it to be that noticeable hahaha!

Metal looks like it's worth a lot more money than what we pay for it

Pretty happy with it. The Virgin Mary has a nice weigh to it which is great. Unfortunately the chain itself is very chunky for the type of necklace it is and after trying it on i had a minor blackout but i think a clear coat nail polish will help with that. So overall it’s good for the price

Nothing to dislike. Looks very expensive although it isn’t. Right size and length. A good buy.
