Bought these to keep doors shut work great made sturdy but the screws that came with are very soft metal and stripped easily had to use different screws. Love the look

The media could not be loaded.  I needed something to keep the bathroom door closed. I’d used two French doors attached to barn door hardware for our en-suite bathroom, but wanted something to secure the doors for privacy.Perfect choice.

Nice lock, hefty in hand, nice appearance. The screws however are another story😠.The multiple reviews mentioning bad screws are TRUE. So I went into this knowing to be careful…... Tapped the holes out with stronger screws and STILL the top of the screw head deformed and the head twisted right off using a non mechanical simple screwdriver. Quite annoyed actually as I now have the leg of the screw in the door of an old lovely cabinet. If you do purchase this go to a hardware store and get some decent screws first
