MCSA SQL Server 2016 Database Development Exam Ref 2-pack: Exam Refs 70-761 and 70-762

It's indeed a two pack of the depicted manuals. I did not get two of the same kind like others have said. Mine did arrive in a partially unsealed yellow mailer though so a corner of the 761 book was bent. Don't really care though, as it's a book, not an iPad so a bent corner isn't the end of the world.

I passed my tests and got my MCSA certification! I didn't have to take some costly training. Using these two books and my experience, I was able to pass. The end result is what matters the most (in my opinion) when purchasing a study guide like this.Of the two books, I liked Itzik Ben-Gan's book the best. He's very good at explaining a principle then reviewing it.I would give them 5 stars, but the typos in the books were egregious. The 70-762 book was particularly bad with the typos. But, in a way, I have to forgive them. They are following the "quick to market" principle that plagues software. If we want it fast, we should expect some bugs.

The books were received as expected. I know some reviews show that it was two of the same books. My shipment was correct. I have just done a quick scan of the books so far but they are awesome. They are design to give you an overview of the exam and links to additional references.

Exam Ref 70-761 is excellently written (rating 5/5) and Exam Ref 70-762 is horrendous and the worst technology book I ever came across (rating 1/5). Authors of 70-762 are pure techies who know SQL Server in and out but they lack knowledge of writing code that is readable and their English writing skill is very poor. I can’t imagine writing a complex SQL JOIN query without using table aliases and proper variable naming convention. Also, the book is full of 3-5 lines long interweaving sentences that will make your head spin. Here is a one such sentence -“There is no way to specify that a DELETE statement affects any certain columns, so DELETE from view that touches multiple tables doesn’t work by simply affecting a DELETE against the view.” Judge for yourself now. I RECOMMEND to the authors of 70-762 to please read 70-761 and to incorporate the best practices. FINAL VERDICT- Reading and understanding Quantum Mechanics book will be easier than understanding 70-762 content.

Son excelentes. Explican al menos algunos de los puntos que te vas a encontrar y que tienen la mayor complejidad de los examenes de certificación. Por supuesto no cubren todo el temario, pero cuando llegas a trabajar lo que en los libros explican, el resto, va rodado.

Se recibió lo especificado en la publicación. 70-761 y 70-762.Excelentes libros para prepararse para el examen de MCP .
