Extremely thin
I bought the 300 yds-15lb-0.2Moss Green , Destron Braided I cannot believe how thin this line is. My first reaction is it appears to be very good line, I peel out and cut a three foot piece off and tugged on it as hard as I could. I them tied it off to a vice and pulled on it it did not break. Only downfall at least to me is that it is only a four braid line I'm used to using an eight braid for my braided lines. The other issue is if you put it on a reel you're going to have to definitely back it up I doubt if I was to use it on my 500 series reel it would not fill that spool by itself. I will update the review after I get back from using it for cat fishing. This should be a good test for the line to compare it to power pro which I normally use. I normally use 15 lb test when I fish for them. I know that 15 lb power pro had held up and landed catfish well over 15 lb. Update finally got out the line held up great I landed my personal best 28 lb cat with no issues. I did not horse him in and had a good 20 play time with him. Tha line is a lot quieter than power pro when reeling in none of that scratching noise you hear with power pro. I like this line a lot but not ready to go to it exclusively still leary of the 4 strand line braid.

A little disappointed so far
Just bought a new Penn spinning reel and wanted to try some braided line on it. I have used some braided in the past but mainly use mono since I primarily fish at the coast. Received my spool and immediately started spooling my reel. After spooling, I noticed that my fingers were blue from the dye on the line. I hope that the color stays on better in the water. Next, my reel was rated at 320 yards of 20lb test. I bought the 300 yard spool and put it all on the reel. I stepped out in my back yard to practice a few casts in my pond. The line is very light weight and releases from the spool easily during the cast. After several casts, I noticed that the line started to come off too easily and actually started sliding down on the outside of the spool during the cast. The following cast I had to unroll the line by hand to get to the strands that were outside of the bottom of the spool so I could rewind it all back where it was supposed to be. I took it back to the house and rewound the line back on the original spool and then re-spooled it back on the reel keeping more tension on the line. More blue fingers but hopefully this will help.I love the camo blue color and really want this line to work like it should.

I will not use another brand of braid
I have at least half a dozen baistcasters and spinners spooled with this braid, from 15lb to 40lb, each with their own particular application. It spools and lays flawlessly, and I’ve yet to break it off no matter what lb I’m using. I’m certainly not an expert on braided line, but I’ve used multiple brands the last dozen years. When I finally pulled the trigger on the Kast King line of braid, I never looked back. I’ve used it now for years, including, most recently, the Destron version, and like all the Kast King braided options, this one performs stellarly. It’s smooth, non-obtrusive, durable, reliable, and it just plain works on a variety of reels. Out of hundreds of casts, particularly with my baitcasters, I’ve only bird-nested it once. And that was operator error. INMHO, it’s unnecessary to spend $30, $40, or even $50 on higher priced braid, unless you’re just not a fan of frugality. As it relates to Kast King’s line of braided lines, you unequivocally get frugality PLUS quality. As for me (and I’m just a lowly southern boy who loves to tear into a pond, lake or swamp full of bass), I will not use another brand of braided line unless it says “Kast King” on the label. Happy casting to all my “average Joe” fat bassin’ brothers and sisters!

Best Camo I've Seen Yet!
I've always considered "camo" braid an unnecessary gimmick, and I still feel that way. However the cool look and factor on bait casting and spinning reels can't be denied! My two spools of Destron 30 lb and 40 lb. arrived today, and I am initially impressed. Well packaged and seems to be consistent with other KastKing lines I've used over the years. The price point was great, too.I really like this camo pattern. Many other brands have colored intervals that measure several feet. However, this braid changes color every 12-14" or so, and often times blends gradually from one color to the next. And when it doesn't blend, it has a roughly 1.5" break between colors. It's as though they actually took the time to make a real came line. It's no rougher feeling out of the box than any other 4-strand lines and is plenty limp for my liking.I haven't had a chance to use it yet because our salmon runs are still a couple months out. However, if it performs like past KastKing lines I shouldn't experience any issues, even in salt water. My Royale Legend 200 will be getting the 40 and my Verus Assassin will be getting the 30.I'll update with "on fish" performance in just a couple months.Update: I got a chance to use it a few weeks ago, in this case on Valdez pink salmon. 30 lb. is overkill for 4-6 lb. pinks, but it eliminates spool "line digging" that often occurs with lighter braids. It cast effortlessly using my Verus Assassin reel, using Vibrax spinners and Pixee spoons. In fact, this line on that reel is one of the best casting combinations I've used yet. Several pinks ended up on my stringer and subsequently in the smoker! I did notice some fading after 2 days of heavy use in saltwater, but that has occurred to every braid type I've ever used, Power Pro included. The real test will be in a couple weeks, when much heavier, faster, stronger silver (coho) salmon arrive!

My new go to
I have really enjoyed this braid. Line feels this for the pound test. Smooth off my casting reels and the color has held remarkably well if that matters to you. Knots hold well. Line is smooth and it will be on all reels as line gets replaced.

Awesome line, killer price
Had to respool 7 reels for a family fishing trip targeting walleye. Bought the 15lb camo because of the extreme low cost compared to what I would normally spend and didn’t have any bite offs or issues. Line casts smoothly and far. Reeled in multiple 27” plus northern and a musky with no issues. Highly recommend this line.
