Easy to fix it take 5 minutes to take off the old one on put this on it works well it value for your money

they "fit". but its too strong. I pop the trunk with the button or key, then slowly lift it untill i feel the struts take over, i gently let go of the trunk, and let the struts open it the rest of the way up. The struts accelerate the trunk so fast that it bangs the upper limit of the hinge really hard and shakes the car a little bit. I feel like its damaging the hinges by doing this.

Not strong enough to initiate the lift. The normal and functional trunk lift stud would initiate the lift and with a bit of upward force you will open the trunk. With this product it not initiate the lift and it does no lift support at all.

Very easy to install: just open the trunk, use a small flat screwdriver to pop the old clip on each side, and pull them out, then put the new one in and push until it pops.They work as expected, and fit properly right away. If they fail early will update this.

Oh my goodness, what an amazing product this is. Since my car is 13 years old, my stock struts had dried out and stopped working smoothly. Upon taking my old trunk struts out, they crumbled into pieces because of how old the plastic was. After installing this, my trunk opens and closes very smoothly. Here is a tip that I have for the people that are trying to install this: position the strut right on top of the sphere-thing and then just push it into place. It should click and bam you are done. Repeat this process for the other 3 sphere-things. Do not in any case touch the small metal clips, those are a pain in the butt!!!!Overall, I highly recomend you make this purchase. Don't worry about it not being stock and trust me when I say it is worth your money. I really have nothing to complain about.

The rear trunk lifts fit the make and model of my BMW. However, the lifts are too weak to lift trunk all the way open.

It appeared slightly bigger. It was a perfect fit and works great

Install is easy fits perfectly for my e46 but is worse than my 16 year old struts so is going to be retuned. Harder to left and barely stays open. I don’t know how people gave 5 stars
