No directions,...but I bought not one but 2 from box stores...junk so I tried this one off Amazon. It was great product. Built way better. Abit heavier. And has a holder for lock set..very satisfied..

I installed this unit on August 29th, right after receiving it. Approximately October 15th the inside handle broke right off after normal use. The tiny pins on the plate directly below the handle (that the screws go through to hold the handle on) are made of cheap pot metal and broke right off at the attaching screw. They say the warranty is only good for one month. The breakage occurred two weeks after the warranty expired. There is no way to contact the seller and Amazon says they have no responsibility in this matter.It’s junk. Do not purchase.

Solid patio door conversion kit to make it keyed.Installation isn’t necessarily easy, but also isn’t too hard. It’s straight forward if you have an existing door and you can match up the new parts. The lack of instructions is a bit of a pain.For those that have Schlage keys, if you know the code to your key (buy a schlage decoder and slide the key on it to get the code), you can order this cylinder to key it the same as your existing doors (Schlage 23-105 C 5 Pin C Keyway Cylinder for B60 Deadbolts). I got mine from doorhardwarecenter.com for $12.You can remove the tailpiece from the included cylinder and swap it for the schlage cylinder to get the correct length.In my case, the tailpiece also had to be trimmed slightly with bolt cutters to fit properly.

Product works great but a huge lack of instructions. Had to follow the pictures of the product. Just make sure you disassemble the main handle and screw it in with the bracket piece on the main handle. It’s a pain! But it works great

Find the installation video by previous customer - priceless! As there are no instructions included. Thank you sir for posting. We replaced an existing broken lock with this and it’s great. Heavy duty, interesting safety pressure tab needed to trigger locking mechanism. If the measurements fit, it’s great.

It is basically flat. There is no way that you can use this to allow the hooks to catch. The keeper plate is flush against the inside door jamb of the patio doors. The only way this would work is to hollow out the inside patio track. And I have NEVER sent this done. It needs about 1/2 inch space behind the plate for it to be raised off the wall. The quality and everything else was great. But to receive a keeper plate like this was the worst part. The other part for me was that it truly is NOT universal. I didn’t anything anywhere to match the dimensions of this set. It may as well be European. It is so incompatible with ANY of the patio doors I have seen in the USA. I can’t even use it because not only is the keeper faceplate useless, it also has a two close space for the pin for a multipoint mortise whereas all the other universal faceplates, the hooks are much farther apart. This was a VERY costly mistake on my end. Lastly, you will need to draw larger and much further apart drill holes for the handle.
