I used mine to extend a Neewer horizontal boom to reach the center of a large light box it is very sturdy and allowed me to shoot top down with no problem using an IR shutter release. This item should also have no problem for use as a sturdy extension on a monopod or tripod.

I was shooting a 360 product shot at a 10° angle rotating at a very slow speed and the whole thing fell down and broke my camera screen and the hollyland video transmision system. Very sad. I’m writing this to let other creators be aware that this is for smaller cameras. I have the sony A7SIII. I wouldn’t recomend this product. Now I’m trying to stick it back with a powerful construction glue to finish the shot but I’ll definitely throw it to the garbage after i’m done
