Very powerful and fast at fraction of the cost
I used these to upgrade my Index Wells CNC knee mill that had mismatched steppers. These motors are super quiet and have excellent torque - my rapids are now 200ipm (~5000 mm/sec) which is more than enough for my machine. I am sure I can make it go faster, just don't think I should.I really like that these plugged in directly into a Mach3 break out board and I did not need a power supply. Essentially for $300 you are getting a complete axis kit, which is a great deal. The software does not include auto tuning, and seller does not sell the RS485 cable that you would use to connect from the computer. Instead, manual has a whole section on tuning the driver manually. The seller was very helpful and provided instructions that allowed me to build my own USB->Amplifier RS485 cable with which I was able view the run graphs and tune some parameters. After few hours of reading documentation and trial and error, I reached, what I think, excellent results, and quieted the motors at idle. I do wish that auto tuning was available (maybe in new version?)

SDF20NK5X AL03 alarm due to input voltage
The drive gives AL03 alarm under very light load even when I connect 750watt servo with it's specs loaded into drive, but 1.5kw motor works on the SDF08NK8X drive which is actually too small for it but it works, this is all wit 240volt mains. When i use 220volt mains it works normal, this is not as the manual shows it can go over 250volt. The dc bus seems to trigger to dump volts to brake resistor even at idle but not with 220volt The other 2x 750watt servo + SDF08NK8X drives work fine

Inexpensive combo
I purchased this set to use as spindle drive on a G0704 mill with a centroid acorn board and analog 0-10V. As stated in other reviews there is no autotuning with this drive, it's all by reading the manual and then changing parameters on the control itself. If you have a background in servos this will not be difficult, if you do not then purchasing this unit will give you an education. Much os the manual is vague so I recommend downloading the manual first and reading through it before purchase if you have any doubts. This is a good unit though and I have no issues with it in use.

Super quiet, fast, lots of torque
The media could not be loaded. Purchased one to start and use for a test on my project of building a cnc milling machine. Shortly after the 1st one arrived, I ordered 2 more, which completed my x, y, and z axis of my home-made cnc. The table itself weighs close to 700 pounds, and 1 motor accelerates from 0 to 3000 rpm with acceleration rate set at 500 and velocity set at 3000 turning a "2005 C5" ballscrew (5mm travel per revolution) which translates to 15000mm/min or 250mm/sec (9.8" travel per second). Crazy fast and highly recommended.

Great product...
I'm trying to wire theA + A-B+B-Z+Z-Encoder wires..I think I may have smoked one of my boards...From what I can tell these are outputting around 48 volts ? Is this correct ?I believe my board import pins should be 5 volts for mach 3..If these are 48 volts do I just need to use a resister to drop the voltage to 5 volts ?Overall very happy with this setup ..I have 5 relays wired to mach 3 to control internal settings on the driver...I have puls speed fully controlled by mach 3 0-3000 rpm...a button in mach 3 and a macro I wrote to swap from spindle "rpm" mode to position mode swapping it to c axis for position control "Ridgid tapping" and threading...Very good product and a satisfied buyer..I don't have it on the machine as this is a full build..6 axis with a lathe and auto tool changer build..the macro on that wasn't fun lol

Don't gamble on these
I purchased 3 servo motors with drives. Two 750 watt servos and one 1000 watt servo with brake. One 750 watt and the one 1000 watt servo motors are defective and inoperable due to the drive not seeing the motor encoder. Only one 750 watt servo worked. Do not waste your time on these junk servos. Also no product support or customer service response from the seller. If I could give them a negative five stars I would.I am a very dissatisfied customer.
