Very disappointing
At first I thought this was going to work great. Then I noticed things that other folks had mentioned. It didn't hold it's shape. It tended to come off. But the worst thing was that in the bright sun, the light refracted through it and it looked BLUE, not clear.

What I don't like is, it gave no instruction on how to apply the adhesive tape.

Needed protection
Was really concerned about opening the door into another auto or hitting it on something that would damage the paint. What a difference this makes.Only problem - the door edge is just a little more thicker at the door edge - make sure you apply the 3m tape to the outside edge of the door and then slip the door guard on.

Get a different brand
This material is advertised as clear but has a bluish hue to it when new. It applies easily and cuts very easily. A roll of 2-sided tape comes separately...huh? It's not attached to one interior side of the protector like most other types of door edge guards. I applied the clear/blue guards without the tape and it went on with ease. After a few days the blue tint fades to make it clear, almost invisible. But the edge guards tend to pull off fairly easily after a few days also. I lost a couple of them on my RAM truck just by opening the doors. One fell off by going through the car wash. I recommend getting a different type with the tape already attached.
