I've been using burt's bees chapstick for a years, but I've been wanting something with more sustainable packaging. This lip balm is thinner than burt's bees but still work quite well. I haven't had chapped lips, but I do find myself having to reapply more often. I've been using it for almost two months and am still on my first out of four. Some reviews did say that the cardboard applicator was hard to use, because of pushing out to much product. Personally I haven't had a hard time with it. If to much product comes out, I'll just push it back in when applying the lip balm. Overall I would recommend this product as a sustainable swap.

I bought two of these products, one mint and one unscented. There is a lot of product in each container so it will last for quite awhile. They both have plant oils in them which I have seen before in creams and lotions. The mint has mint oil in it which I can feel sinking into my lips at night. It has definitely helped take away even more chapping on the lips.

Love the formula, but the packaging is a complete miss. The reason I tried this, is because I only want to use EWG verified products. The attitude brand has been amazing so far! I love their line of products, but this particular one is not functional. You can make it work if you don’t mind fiddling with it each time , you have to push it up manually with a finger from the bottom, it has no way to go back down though, so you have to replace the cap over exposed product making it messy and wasteful if you happen to not take the time to carefully replace it. Not to mention, if you have long nails or fragile nails, this is a terrible idea. It seems with use it will likely fall apart too, it also doesn’t glide up smoothly when you push up, and loosens with time. I’m not sure how much product you get due to the push mechanism, but it’s fairly wide so if you have thinner lips the design is a bit oversized. I really wish they would just use a traditional tube or something refillable instead! I get they want to reduce waste, as do I, but things also need to function, metal is recyclable and coatings can be applied to protect the product from reacting or simply isolating it all together. A metal tube may work better. Or a combination of metal casing/mechanism and like a cardboard refill. I would be willing to purchase a refill and do it myself, it’s just not engineered well enough for practical use. It can also be made of plastic like their other products, with an eco friendly refill tube, that way the plastic is not one time use.

I was looking for a perfect lip balm to use in my night skincare, and so glad I found it!Very moisturizing, good texture, cute packaging, EWG verified, clean ingredients.

Doesn't smell like anything, doesn't taste like anything, feels like heaven!! AND it isn't even poisoning me?!!My lips crack and bleed every winter and I've struggled with cold sores all my life and I've tried so many just terrible, garbagey garbage lip balms for the past decade+ at this point. I've never been so pleased with a lip balm as this attitude one.. honestly it's a small dream come true.And the tube is perfectly fine. Y'all need some actual hardship in your lives if this cardboard tube is too much for you. Small children eat treats out of tubes like this ffs you can do it too. Push it up from the bottom with your finger, push it back down with your lips if need be, go back in time and stop yourself from eating all that lead as a child.

I would literally sell my soul for this chapstick. I always buy 2 just in case I lose one or it gets left jn my scrubs in the washing machine.

I like the lip balm, that it is EWG rated clean - however I do NOT like the packaging. It is cardboard and already after just a few uses, it is difficult to get the top back on as the cardboard is fraying. Would not buy again in current packaging.

Been looking for a safer lip balm and decided to try this one after doing some research. Really wanted to like it (has a nice creamy, moisturizing feel to it) buuuuttt I had to keep reapplying what felt like every 5 seconds. I decided to go with Dr. Dan’s Cortibalm which is awesome and about the same price.
