I ordered the Shea butter base and it’s worked out great for me. It lathers up and it also hardens up. I’ve had trouble with both features in other soaps but I can report that it still hardens and lathers after I add additional oils to it as well. On top of essential oils I also added some coconut oil and it set nicely.Everyone’s skin is different, mine is sensitive to certain chemicals and dries out quickly. If I use soap made with this base on my hands it doesn’t dry them out and leave that residual feeling. Now, if I use it on my face it doesn’t dry it out but it does cause my dead skin to surface. I can’t use it without scrubbing my face otherwise it will look very dry through the day. It’s safe to say my face is more sensitive than my hands, my hands more than my body. No issues using the soap anywhere else.

I like how this feels on my skin, and when mixed with breast milk, it keeps it's firmness. It's a major trust-the-process type deal when mixing with milk, but the end result is excellent, and I've been using it on both me and my son for months now.

I have started making my own soaps and I really like this one. It is easy to cut up into smaller pieces, melts great in the microwave and holds the heat to give you time to mix your color and scent in and be able to pour in what ever molds you want to use.

Overall I am impressed with this product. I did take away 1 star though for the packaging. The plastic it is wrapped in is thin and when I received it had been bumped around a little. The soap are mushed around the plastic on a couple corners and so when trying to remove it was trapped in the soap. Was a little difficult making sure I got all the plastic out. The soap base itself if smooth. Easy to use and came out smooth.

I used this to make an easy bulk Christmas gift. I am a below average user. I did not buy this to make anything crazy fancy as I'm sure other people are capable of. I followed some sugar scrub recipe I found online. I put the soap in the microwave until it was melted, mixed in jojoba oil, a tiny bit of food dye to make it pink, and my sugar. I used a baking sheet lined with sugar and poured it into. It set up fairly quick. That was that. I decided not to add scent because different people like different things so I left it plain. And plain still smells good to me. It's soap. It smells clean. I feel clean when I use it. I still have half of it left to make more soap at a later time. Nothing wrong with having lots of soap to be clean. The only thing I hated was cleaning out the bowl I used to heat the soap in. It just took a while.

Mild scent, soap came out perfect. Would shop again.

Soap arrived quickly after ordering and well packaged. I used it to make breastmilk soap and it worked wonderfully.
