Step 1 -- Draw a Line...
I needed something for my 88-year old Mother to do to keep her mind active and her fingers limber. She'd expressed an interest in drawing and painting. (A reincarnation of Grandma Moses perhaps?) I bought this book to help give her some instruction in art. She's in heaven, and has found a hidden talent she didn't know she had. This book is very detailed and is perfect for teaching her the basics of drawing. We have several artists in the family so there is already some genetic talent there, but I think even someone who can't draw a straight line could learn from this book.

Lovely book
My daughter found a 90’s version of this book in her school library and I was happy to find this one

Love this book
Bought it for my children, we love this book. the instructions are very detailed, printed on nice sturdy paper, easy to follow steps. I would recommend this book, we have had this for over a year and it still looks new, just take care of the book, dont throw it around and mistreat it and it will last for ever.

Helpful tutorials
If you are just learning to draw these come in handy. I find the step by step a little confusing as some lines need to be erased for the finished product. I enjoy drawing flowers and am always interested in different ways to draw them especially flowers and plants I have not drawn before. I have several young grandchildren who I have used these as a tutorial for them

Great for a beginner!
The book has no text with it, only illustrations from from the beginning step all the way to the finished drawing. I like the book to follow to practice drawing. My drawing skill certainly has improved by this book.

A big hit
I got what I expected and wanted. And with everything else the key is practice, practice and practice. If you like to look at something and draw what you see step by step this book is for you. The way the book is written and set-up it is done in such a way to draw what you see without depending too much on easy step by step. Easy step by step is for the bare bones beginner to help them build their self confidence and to teach them, but this book goes a little further it does it in such a way to not let you become too dependent on the step by step. T would recommend this and more than likely all the others too to anyone who wants to learn to draw.

Good book to learn to draw various flowers step by step
I have quite a few of these books and enjoy working through them. It's not filled with explanations but has visual breakdowns of the various steps to get to the final image. I think they're mainly meant for children but I've learned a lot by working through them myself and I'm not a spring chicken! ;o)

Replacement for Lost Library Book
My child (then 7) got this book out of the library, liked it very much, then misplaced it. I can comment from the perspective of someone who likes to draw, but did not intend to learn anything.I enjoyed the drawings and took inspiration from the book. For those who like to learn by this method the book should be very helpful. It's possible that folks who prefer to start with step by step directions, might not find this to their taste. However, I prefer a trial and error path, as does my niece, who makes wildly imaginative drawings, not copies of someone else's work.

Excellent
Probably one of the best, if not the' best, beginner drawing book I have come across. I'm looking forward to getting more from this author.

A forma como explica o modo de desenhar
Gostei de tudo no geral, só não gostei que o passo a passo fosse a verde, que muitas vezes não se percebe, mas no geral está otimo

Not for Beginners!
If you are someone who is looking to learn how to draw more flowers, learn the composition and all, I do not recommend this book! The final results of the images drawn here are all penil/pen shaded... If you want a simple line drawing step by step then this isn't the best choice. Giving only three stars because I could find few flower references in here. The trees and plants aren't much useful to draw as such any where! If you are a beginner, I say go for another book :)Adding one page from the book fr your reference!
