I was looking for a discreet camera that loop records to a micro sd card and specifically DOES NOT need an app or a wifi connection. This is truly a standalone camera, that is, you plug it in and it starts recording. Then to view footage, you pull out the sd card and put it into a computer and can view the video files. The only thing you have to watch out for is the unit needs to be unplugged before you insert the sd card, otherwise it will not start recording. So, unplug the unit, insert the micro sd card, plug in the unit, then you will see the indicator light blink several times and that means it is recording.

I love this product and would recommend it to anyone. I have been looking for a while for a hidden camera that didn't cost a fortune. I don't know a lot about electronic gadgets and I am not tech savvy at all. I read the directions and was very surprised at how easy the set up was. I was desperate to find a camera that would easily be overlooked by anyone walking by. When I found the XISRU Charging Block camera I was both intrigued and skeptical. I've had some suspicious about people going through my belongings while I'm away and had an old cell phone set up but it was too difficult to conceal it properly while maintaining a decent line of site where I suspected the activity. I bought this and a few other items and I actually caught the person doing it and had the clear evidence to confront them with. Great quality, easy to use, and hard to detect unless you're looking for it specifically.
