Easy install with connection wires
The four connection wires are pre-installed with plenty of slack to make installation easy with included wire nuts, although I used Wago wire connectors to make things even easier. There was plenty of room in the middle position of a triple gang box for this unit. Installation was fast, and network setup was easy. Alexa operation is flawless.

Nice switch
I use these with Samsung SmartThings hub. Use Google but Alexa is probably better.I have had a few older ones stop working, Usually as a result of power surge after power outages.Newer version switch is thicker. Hope more resistant to surges.

Works just fine
I thought these were like the ones that came with my home which has a blue light on the toggle but turns out they are not (I bet the one with the blue light is more expensive). For what I paid, I could not be more thrilled. They work just fine. Took me less than a minute to pair with my SmartThings.

Didn't work even as an ordinary light switch, regardless of the Z-Wave function
Hooked it up as an ordinary in-line light switch (I've done this hundreds of times so I do know how to do it) but even before I got to the part of connecting it to my alarm system, I found that the switch just didn't work. I tested the connection with a multimeter and determined that the switching function did not complete a circuit at all. However, I was precluded from returning it because of the requirement for it to be in the original packaging.

Programing multiple presses NOT
Basic functions work, that is OFF and ON. Using HomeSeer 4. Don't ever use S2 security, you will regret it in the long run. This device SEEMS to allow two or three presses of key (on or off) as a function for programming. The problem is, in order to 'get to two' you have to 'pass one'. that is, two press causes the ONE PRESS to be performed, THEN the two press. Apparently they don't allow going to 2 without ALSO selecting 1. This makes this practically useless to program for this advanced feature. For example, the switch turns ON a local light. Press 2 ON runs program X. If you press ON twice quickly - the light turns on AND then program X runs.

Great Smart switches
These switches work well. Integrated easily into my Smartthings home automation. Installation was easy, for the most part. Gave it four stars because the directions regarding a traveler wire are a little misleading, in my opinion. To me, it would seem that they would be able to work with another switch setup in a 3 way. That's not the case. I tried using this with a non-smart switch, thinking I could. Maybe it was just me, but I couldn't get it to work. Maybe you have to use it with another smart switch? None the less, I didn't really need the other switch in my 3 way setup, so I left it unusable.

Good device, works flawlessly with Home Assistant
I am generally happy with JASCO products (they made products for GE and now under Enbrighten brand. While this is not too desired color and went on sale, I installed multiple in basement, garage and out-of-sight locations. It has smaller form factor so it fits easier into tight boxes.Only complaint I have that it doesn't have any status LED which I would find very useful. Also pairing was a bit problematic, I had to reset, pair, reset, pair, but eventually it went nicely with S2 security. (It may be fault of Home Assistant or unit, can't tell)
