I received this item free as part of the Vine program for my review.My RV travel trailer did not have a quick connect LP connector anywhere on the exterior (or interior for that matter) of the vehicle, so when I saw this kit I planned to add one. It came with some of the fittings I would use to connect to the 3 most important appliances I wanted to use off the quick connect fitting: a Weber Q100 grill, a fire pit, and a dual fuel gas/propane generator.The kit arrived in adequate packaging and in good shape. The brass fittings are good quality and fit together perfectly. They also integrated with other brass fittings I purchased to complete the project perfectly. I really appreciated that the kit came with thread tape and plenty of it. It’s not an expensive thing to include but it means a lot not having to get some when I don’t have any around, this being my first, and probably only, LP project.I felt the quality was good enough to buy a second kit on my own to complete the project. I ran the new propane line and used the 1/4” male NPT x 3/8” male flare fitting to connect the hose to the 1/4” quick connect. For the appliances I had to buy some extra brass adapters but they all integrated perfectly with fittings from this kit. On each appliance I removed the regulator and attached a 1/4” male quick connect plug. Lastly, I attached a 1/4” quick connect from the second kit to a propane hose with a regulator and 20lb tank adapter to use the appliances from a standard 20lb LP tank when we’re not with the trailer. I used the thread tape on all connections, even the Flare fittings which don’t require it, and tested them under pressure with soapy water, checking for leaks.All told, these are quality fittings that don’t leak, comes with thread tape, at a great price. The shutoffs work perfectly without leaks. The connectors are tight without leaks. I am very pleased with the results and I have no reason to expect that the connections will not last a very long time.
