Very nice aesthetics. The first thing I did was open ...
Got this for a Redcat Gen 7 Sport rock crawler. The stock axles finally broke where I couldn't repair them. Very nice aesthetics. The first thing I did was open them up to see under the cap. Everything seemed well designed and precise. Not much slop. By the way these are not true differentials but rather straight axle types. I added some more lubricant to the gears (Sil-Glyde) which immediately improved the smoothness and friction. I reassembled and mounted on the truck. After running awhile I noticed some screws were loose on the steering parts so I went back over all the screws with Green Loctite. I suggest you do this by default before you even mount yours. So far these are much stronger than stock and a lot less noisy too.

Wouldn't recommend
I originally gave it 4 stars because I thought the axles would be an easy fix with the scxII cvds but I've yet to find any that fit even factory scxII they're all to tight in between the c hubs and steering knuckles I really wanted to like these but it's too much of a headache. They are sending replacements, but they're the same ones that broke on the first use and it's been close to a month. I've bought and sent back THREE sets of CVD shafts to try with these in the time its took to get replacements an still haven't seen them. I personally wouldn't recommend these if you like using your rc's. But if you just like looking at pretty axles setting on a shelf these are the ones for you.Would give five stars if the cvd axles didn't break the first time using them then have to wait weeks for replacement. I'd buy a set of scx10 2 front cvd's with these if you like using your truck. Other than that they're awesome.

Not as good as I’d hoped but
Seem to have a lurching in them they aren’t really bad but for the price could be better and the look decent but seem to hang worse on axle hangers than the factory plastic ones but a lot of fixable parts on the if you can find those parts idk if you can

Clean and set steering trim low
Great axles. Busted a front shaft rather quick but seller sent a pair for free to make up for it. These front shafts don't like to be at a hard angle and lots of power but I made my original ar44 shafts fit with little modification to the shaft where bearings ride and they haven't broke yet on a 3s with a 55t motor. Naturally take these apart before running them. Ran and set the gears right and you won't be disappointed

Good housing, bad axles.
As others have said, SNAP! Both front axles snapped, also, do NOT use the supplied aluminum bolts. Dear God they are weak! They strip just looking at 'em and I've had 2 shear while crawling. That being said, would buy again I believe.

Nice Full Ball bearing Aluminum Axles
Pros: These are Smooth and heavy with full metal gears and CVD steering, the bushings are brass in the steering links and the shafts are full bearing installed.I will recommend to grease the gears and threadlock all the screw's before you installing on your project. I am using These SCX10 Axles on my Redcat Everest Gen 7 Sport, they have the 4 link mount in the front and rear. I will update a picture after installation.Customer Service is Very Responsive when contacted.I can recommend This product for a definite upgrade set up.

Trash
Drive shaft broke within first 2 minutes of installation on flat ground look cool but they're junk. Now I have a useless car because I had to hack pretty much the whole front of my rig to make them work.
