I’ve bought a few kits like this in the past. This one is the best price and the most product. I teach ceramics and use it to fix student pieces that break throughout the process. The powder is easy to work with and very vivid! You will need to purchase more of the 2 part epoxy, as there is MUCH more powder than could be used with 1 tupe of epoxy.

While the product works fine for decorative purposes, it is deceptive to show in the images things like bowls and plates being fixed with this kit as THIS IS NOT FOOD SAFE. They even provide some little bowls to practice on, which I guess you then bin afterwards? What's the point?Bought to fix some mugs, and only after applying did I think to do some digging and found the fine print that it is not food safe. Mugs now unusable.Fine for vases and decorative items, useless for anything else.Edit: a few months on the glue has stopped working, despite proper storage and sealing. I'd just avoid this product unless you have a lot of non-food items you need to use it on straight away.

The kit itself came with everything needed, and so far I was able to repair my broken pot successfully and it looks really pretty. The only warning would be I found the gold dust irritating, even if just a little got on my skin, so I would be careful and keep extra gloves handy if you have easily irritated skin or eyes. Giving 3 stars bc I couldn’t find a warning label or anything stating that the powder is non toxic

Used it to fix a 40's mirror. Just right

The bowls turned out great. The first bowl was best because it set up easily. The second bowl was more of a challenge to figure out how to support pieces to dry. My recommendation is to have a few things handy to support the drying prior to starting. The only reason it did not get 5 stars is it did not give a solvent to clean extra epoxy. It is not water soluble.
