Perfect dead zone and responsiveness in the sticks.
The media could not be loaded. I’m not a ps4 player, I got this for my gf but I tested it on the website to see how good the 3d Hall effect sticks were and they are perfect. The two buttons on the back are programmable to do multiple button presses so they can either do one of the buttons or a combination to a recording of you pressing the buttons for up to 30 seconds or if held down they just repeat. Back when halo 2 bxr was a thing this would have rocked. It functions perfectly and connects to the ps4 flawlessly with an included, albeit short 2ft usb C cable. The lights are changeable with a center button on the back of the controller as well.

The #1 third-party controller for PS4 - end of discussion.
If I had to pick 1 controller for the rest of my life - THIS IS THE ONE!Let me start by saying the Hall effect joysticks are absolutely amazing. Not only is my 'deadzone' set at 5% (on some games it won't go any lower!) but they are incredibly responsive and precise. The difference was noticable immediately. No more stick drift! Are you kidding me?! It's night and day on Fortnite - no more walking away from a chest while trying to search it. There is a God!!!! I want Hall effect sticks on every console and on my drone, now. They're leagues above the standard analogs we've been subjected to since N64.The triggers and all the other buttons feel great, too. The Macro buttons on the back record your movements using the same timing used during record so if you hit [Square], wait 2 seconds and hit it again, it will put the 2 seconds pause just like you did.It looks sick, too. The lights are some of the nicest I've ever seen on a controller. I have a Switch controller that just has LEDs randomly dotted on the front and it looks horrible.Oh, yea, you can also use this controller on your Nintendo Switch! Now, I have had a couple of issues. Mostly it has to due with the controller shutting off mid-game with plenty of battery remaining when I turn it back on. Note: This could be due to the Nintendo Switch that is very close-by. Before I had ever connected it to the Switch(!), as soon as the controller that was connected to the Switch died, this controller stepped in for it. Unfortunately, I was using it on my PS4 at the time. I was betting that it would work on the Switch but I didn't think any controller could sync up automatically with no user input WHILE using it on another console. Definitely tripped my gf and I out.If you only need to know one thing, know this: I told my girlfriend to try it out and now she won't give it back!

Immediate issues
Out of the box, it seems to work for a few minutes, but then it will either disconnect and then be unable to reconnect again except with the USB cord, or the joysticks become seemingly sentient and a hard restart is required.

Mostly Good, but No Hall Triggers and poor battery life
Let's get the good out of the way. The "3D Joysticks" are indeed K-Silver branded thumbsticks, with an X-box Pin-out. @ $27 @ the time of this review, that makes this controller a steal.Furthermore, unlike another reviewer, my sample did indeed come with the 800 mah battery advertised; that being said, the battery life is abysmal, lasting only about 6 hours (with rgb OFF) between charges. My stock standard PS4 controllers last about 16, so that is quite the downgrade.Lastly, why no Hall effect triggers, Honghao? @ the time of this review, Honghao actually offers a model with hall triggers, but no Hall thumb sticks, so surely the ability exists to offer a model with both. A missed opportunity to make an excellent controller @ a killer price point. Get on it, Honghao, and I'd buy it in a heartbeat, even with the poor battery life.

Cool to look at!
I love the way this controller works. However it unfortunately glitches a lot if it's not plugged in and the plug it comes with is not long.I bought 2 and they are both like that . But when they are plugged in they work fine 🙂

Love it so far. Hope it's durable. (Update below)
Feel: SolidGrip: comfortableDesign: Cool and has optionsColor: Nice clash of solid color with changeable retro look.Buttons: Solid and responsive. Love the M1 and M2 buttons and placement. Would be cool if the buttons symbols changed color too.I'm going to buy myself another one one just in case they disappear on Amazon.Update: Bought myself a second one. The pink version. Pretty great but the L1 is a bit sticky, doesn't repositions/spring back. Going to try to see if there's something I can do at my end. Because I threw out the box. My other controller going strong.

Works great
Most of all it works. it lights up cool and has easy buttons for that. The buttons click loud but I don't care. I've never used a PS controller before so I don't know how sensitive the touch pad is suppose to be, but works.

Beautiful controller, but bad functionality
I'll start by saying it's a beautiful controller. The light was just bright enough, and the purple LED matched the lights on my desk/mouse/keyboard. The feel of the controller was nice, the buttons felt good, I really wanted to love this controller. The reason I'm giving it a bad review is because the d-pad didn't work properly. It could go up/down/left/right no problem, but the upper diagonals were practically non-existent. I couldn't aim properly in side-scrolling shooters, and I couldn't jump properly in fighting games.I'm returning it rather than getting a replacement because even though the controller feels nice, it also feels cheap, and I'm worried the next one will have a similar problem. I'll be looking for another controller that lights up, but feels better overall.
